We took a half day trip with Captain Hook, slightly skeptical not knowing how our girls will enjoy the fishing activity. Turned out that it was absolutely fantastic with the captain who keeps giving us a running commentary on which direction we are heading, what are the names of the islands we were crossing, how the sky changed when it showered and how it suddenly got sunny. He kept the kids alert with his sense of humor by interacting with them about the fishes, the ocean and the weather. Being with nature is always therapeutic, nevertheless there was so much learning in this trip and my family was just enticed with the blue color of the water, and soaking in the sun.
There was a good one hour given by the captain for everyone to snorkel which was a beautiful experience. would recommend everyone to do this whether you are single or with your partner or with kids its definitely worth the experience.

We went as part of our honeymoon, I'm a keen fisho and my wife was looking forward to exploring and seeing the beautiful islands:
Good:
-Actual fishing: Crew knew their stuff and had good markings for where the fish were biting. We caught plenty of GTs, Coral Trout, Snapper. The crew were definitely keen fishermen and were helpful in showing us some techniques for the local waters. It was great how they really maximised our time out on the water and near the schools of fish.
-Boat/Gear: Comfortable boat and good quality gear (Penn Slammer reels, braid, range of poppers and crankbaits)
- Lunch: Plenty of food and icy refreshments (it was very hot so this was appreciated)
Room For Improvement:
-Crew had limited English, we were hoping for a bit more of an intro to the area and the few times we asked questions they didn't seem to understand what we were asking. A little extra training could help with this
-It was quite off putting to hear the guys constantly spitting especially while we were having lunch.
-There was a little confusion over payment. We asked the night before whether if we couldn't withdraw the full 60000IDR t an ATM on the way to the boat could we pay the remainder with credit card. We were told this is fine but when we ended up maxing out 2 of our cards at the ATM we were told the the credit card wasn't at the boat but in the opposite direction back at the hotel/charter office. Maybe getting a little credit card payment portal/device and having it by the boat would make this process smoother and avoid backtracking

My friend and I, two girls, travelled to the Andaman Islands in December 2021. Initially, we were hesitant to travel by ourselves, so far from home(Maharashtra).
From the beginning, Nafisa ma'am gave us a lot of confidence and assured us that Andamans was one of the safest places to visit within India. She prepared an itinerary for us as per our requirements and we were ready to set out on our holiday.
Her team arranged for airport drops and pickups, along with visits to major sightseeing points. All the drivers were very punctual and professional.
Owing to the fact that it was peak tourist season with crowds everywhere, her team went above and beyond to guide us at ticket counters, at the major tourist spots.
Nafisa ma'am, kindly accommodated our request to reschedule our ferry from Havelock to Port Blair so that we could visit Ross Island at Port Blair, which closes early. Her team, including Mr. Manu who drove us in Port Blair, helped us make it to Ross Island in the nick of time as our ferry was running late.
In Havelock, we opted for the Boat ride by Captain Hook's and it was a mesmerizing experience. Our Boat ride began with a glimpse of spinner dolphins jumping out to greet us. The boat guides Mr. Harry and Mr. Anil took us on a snorkelling tour and we witnessed beautiful untouched coral reefs and colourful fish.
As for the hotels, Nafisa ma'am, had us booked in luxurious hotels which were within walking distance of the beaches.
Thank you for this memorable trip. 😊

We did Game fishing with Captain Hook’s. And the experience was beyond our imagination. To start with Ms Nafeesa is the best enterprising, soft spoken, helpful ange you wish you knew even before planning the trip.
The whole trip is well planned and four hours flew by in no time. We were very lucky to catch two large fishes at our first fishing spot itself. Me, my husband and our three year old enjoyed the experience of holding, touching and then sending the fishes back to the sea.
My little one got so excited that she wanted more. At next fishing destination we got a big trout. Seeing big fishes up close is magnificent.
The staff on board taught us fishing hook with patience, which is a great experience in itself.
We tried at few more fishing spots and instead of a fish a sea eagle got hooked. It flew later.
The corals seen during snorkeling at Wilson island is icing on cake. I have never seen such beautiful dense varied corals even during scuba diving. It was like I was in National Geographic under sea video.
During our return we again tried fishing at few spots and got two more fishes. One was queen fish which was held by my three year old.
Not to mention the magnificent nature view during the whole trip.
During the whole trip I felt mesmerised and would recommend everyone who is adventurous to definitely try same. The whole staff and the crew on board specifically ensured that we have a great experience instead of it becoming routine activity.
The experience was worth each penny.

We booked a half day trip with Captain Hooks to try our hands at sports fishing for the first time. Needless to say, we weren't disappointed. With the Captain skillfully navigating through the channels, chasing fish across reefs to actually teaching my son and I, various fishing techniques, the thrill of it was beyond expectations. We were also provided lunch and plentiful refreshments throughout the trip. Towards the end of the trip we stopped at a beautiful reef for snorkeling before heading back to the Havelock Jetty. A sincere thanks to the team at captain hook's for making our first father-son fishing trip a memorable one. I would recommend everyone be it families, groups of friends or even couples to take a trip with them. It was the highlight of our trip and it can be yours too!

I along with my partner did a half-day Island hopping tour and covered Peel, Wilson, and Nicholsan Island. It was our best experience in Havelock.
Booking and coordination were seamless. I wanted to do a full-day tour but my partner was worried about seasickness and Qutub was kind enough to accommodate our request. 4.5 hours in the sea passed like anything and we were awestruck by breathtaking views. We did snorkeling near one of the virgin reefs and saw various corals ( I can easily spot pencil, brain, plate) and other varieties of aquatic flora and fauna.
We also tried game fishing and caught reef grouper and tiger grouper. It's indeed a best activity in Havelock - much better than wasting time in Elephant beach.
One can easily experience the quality of services what is being offered in Portugal /Spain /Turkey at 1/10th of price. I wish Qutub soon procure a bigger better boat.

Not sure where to begin, but if you want a mix of genuine hospitality, breathtaking scenery, enjoyable fishing, and delicious food (take a moment to appreciate the chef's passion in cooking and plating), along with an incredible staff, then this is the place for you. It may not be the easiest to reach, involving quite a bit of travel, but once you're there, they really take care of you. Qutub and Nafisa, the hosts, complement each other perfectly and are genuinely humble and kind. I love hearing about their journey to success.
We initially visited for fishing, and while nature wasn't entirely on our side, as any fisherman knows, fishing is a challenge that pays off with persistence. The area has great potential, and every spot they take you to is teeming with bites. The team works exceptionally hard to help you achieve your fishing dreams. A special shout-out to the boat staff, especially "Tiger," who seems to be everywhere, anticipating your needs and making your experience so smooth.
Having fished in many places around the world, I can confidently say this has the best boat staff. I'm planning to return in the next two months to catch more fish and reconnect with everyone there. It truly feels like a home away from home. Thanks a ton for everything! 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Cap catch fish

I would recommend doing the kayaking at night, if possible. It cost R3500 per person but was worth every rupee.
Mr Ali was an exceptional guide who was very knowledgeable of the mangroves and constellations. The kayaking felt very safe with two extra guides and a thorough, professional briefing beforehand.
You go in relatively small groups of up to 10 people. It is very difficult to fall into the water. Wear swimming costumes as you will be wet from waist down from the water running down the paddles with each stroke. There is a small bag for belongings for the group that can fit wallets and phones. You won't get many photo opportunities as it will be so dark and tranquil you almost won't want to disturb it. A small biscuit snack and flask of water is provided too.
The experience lasts around 1.5 to 2 hours but it was truly magical, even when there is no bio-luminescence.

We booked an evening of kayaking with Mr. Ali Asgar in January and oh boy what an evening it was! We were a group of 8 ladies, and it was a first experience kayaking for most of us. Mr. Ali prepped us well before we got on to the kayaks, his instructions were clear and precise. It took us a while to get the hang of handling the paddles but then we were off! Once the sun went down, the sky was full of blinking stars, the magic started. Mr. Ali pointed to us different constellations and he told us a little bit about islands, their flora and fauna etc. Then as we were paddling we noticed the water glowing with the bioluminescent algae, it was surreal. We then went paddling through a mangrove creek , which was terrifying and thrilling at the same time. We had two other kayaks with Mr. Ali’s assistants accompanying us, so our safety was covered from all sides. All in all it was a great and unforgettable experience and I would recommend it to all ages, swimmers and non-swimmers.
