Where do I start, we visited Havelock in December 2019, and we were glad we choose ScubaLov as our partners to do the dives with. These were our first dives and it was just mesmerising. The staff is extremely patient, they will actually baby sit you through the whole process if required. We turned out doing eight dives with them across Havelock and Neil island and there was not a single moment where we were disappointed. The moment we entered the ever so smiling Lovely walked us through the process and at the same time bumped into Shubam who made us comfortable. The dives were even better than we expected, scared a bit to start with, but they were patient and very encouraging. Danny was extremely professional when in water, and extremely friendly when we were outside. The comfort levels with each of these guys, they truly are a team. We turned out diving with Shubham, Vinny, Danny, Sujit, Saniel and the company provided by Geethika, Ashel, Nigel, Ally, Sudha just made us want more of this experience. Thanks a ton guys, you'll make us want more!!

We are certified divers and did six fun dives with ScubaLov, four with Geethika, and two with Subham. They were competent, fun and extremely caring. Having dived at the great barrier reef, Hawaii, and Zanzibar, I can say that their professionalism and dive guiding skills are at international standards. Nigel who manages the team is also an extremely kind and helpful person who made sure we had a great time, despite staying at the different resort. Scuba diving in Havelock is amazing, as the sea life is abundant, and corals are still thriving in many places. SubaLov made exploring these pristine sites stress free and fun!

If you want to do exciting water sports or even certifications in Andamans - this is the place to be!
I had the best time doing my Open Water Certification with Scuba Lov. You will meet an amazing group of people who are warm, welcoming and very motivated! They will teach you and mesmerize you with stories from the underwater world. They are hands on with the training and take a step beyond to know more about you to help you learn and enjoy the sport. You will definitely feel like a part of the underwater family when you are through.
From learning the techniques to theory to even understanding the dive sites, it was a great learning curve. They will spend time to make sure you understand how each thing works and practice with you until you are confident.
Loved it here. Surely coming back!

The team is highly unprofessional and has zero ownership towards their work. Once they mint money from you they are least concern post that.
Must opt for other scuba diving groups which are much cheaper and highly professional.
I and my husband indulged in scuba diving on 6 Feb at 5:30 am, seashell havlock. While enrolling for the activity, the team (lady shweta at the desk) promised us to transfer the pictures with her MacBook to our Iphone since we were not carrying a pendrive. They charged us Rs.9000/- for the experience, underwater photos and videos.
After the activity( which was very average not very great) when we reached the desk to take our photos, shweta was not there. She dint even bother to inform her colleague.
Other lady at the desk upfrontly told us to reach shweta only. We requested the lady to have the pictures and videos mailed since shweta’s contact number was completely unavailable.
Somehow after reaching home we connected with shweta telephonically again reminded her to share pictures. Despite calling and messaging her couple of number of times, she has no courtesy to reply or connect back. Connected with their team lead(Nigel) but no response.
The team shows no ownership to reach us and do the needful since they have got their money.
Till date we have not received a single picture of our experience: scuba diving.
Please do not take up scuba diving activity from scuba. Lov ( seashell havlock) Theses guys are cheats and highly unprofessional.

My wife has been insistent on getting her PADI diving open water certification for a while now, and we decided the timing was right for us to attempt it. We booked Scubalov after it was highly recommended by my bro-in-law. We were staying at Sea shell and Scubalov is on site so was very convenient for us as well.
Nigel was our instructor and he was just fabulous. He took his time explain, demonstrated multiple times till we got the concepts, grilled us on our understanding, ensured we follow protocols and safety instructions, and went above and beyond !
Even when he was clearly suffering from allergies and was having trouble equalising the pressure, he accompanied us on the dives ( ably supported by 42, Ahmed, Deepesh, Shankaran). We struggled with some aspects, but he was patient and encouraging. He took us to "the wall" and "red tower" dive sites and made sure we had the experience of a life time. We have been bitten by the scuba bug and hope to come back soon !

I can’t thank enough the team at Scuba lov for their professional handling of our first dive experience. To begin with i am an absolute non swimmer so much that i even fear taking a holy dip in the sea at the pilgrimage sites, so it was no less than dreadful for me to take up the dive. But thanks to the team, i could take the plunge and the ensuing 30 mins will always be one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Their video quality too was super clear and so be sure you would have good memories to take back with you. Special mention to shubham for patiently handling all our queries and assuring us the best services. I sincerely suggest this team for all the first time divers. Please note you can get diving packages for as less as 2k in havelock but they are just by the shore and can’t guarantee the experience. These guys are one of thr few PADI certified dive sites and so rest assures you are in safe sides. My suggestion is do try their boat dives, you will have ear pain initially for few mins until you adjust to the water pressure, you just need to follow their instructions and you will be fine and have the best experience of your life!!

Sept 2022 • Friends
Since September is still monsoons in Andamans, the day before we were scheduled for Scuba it was raining incessantly & the sea looked rough. My travel partner who has sailed in the Atlantic in a similar weather mentioned it wouldn’t be a very wise decision to go for it if the weather doesn’t improve. Well I was really taken aback that day just wishes the weather clears up. Nemroy & Shankaran really helped us in taking a decision that day and assured us on the safety .
Thankfully it was bright and sunny the next day and yess finally I went for my 1st Scuba Dive with Scuba Lov . Really appreciate Shankaran for helping us even with the technicalities of the equipment’s just cz we were curios .
Deepesh & Saniel we’re our dive masters for the day. After 15-20 mins of basic training including underwater breathing , sign languages etc at the shallow side we went ahead . Surprisingly my fear & anxiety had just gone. I could see I was going down & could breathe without any problem. Deepesh was there by my side and We communicated with sign language through out and he did keep on checking with me everything was okay.
Being able to enjoy the serenity you find beneath the surface without needing to return back up for air is absolutely fantastic. From the moment you submerge, you become a quiet observer in a vast universe of biodiversity. In less than 40 minutes of our first dive, I was sure that this is more surreal than anything else I have seen in life. So peaceful All I could hear was only my breath… breathing in.. breathing out.. while enjoying the magical world and its inhabitants around me..We stayed underwater for about 50 mins and came out safely .
So let me tell you if you are scared of scuba diving there is no reason to be . Its definitely a must try in ones lifetime.
Pro Tio –Do Keep breathing slowly and just relax .The more lighter you are the more easier it is. It is a lot like meditation.
Thanks team @scubalov for making this safe, fun & memorable.
Things that could be better -
1. The changing rooms definitely need to be improved
2. The No of photographs between me and my partner were quite dis proportionate. It would help if the photographer takes care of the fact that everyone gets equal footage.
3. If you donot carry your pen drive the upload could take a while due to poor connectivity there . Although Lovely had been of great help in this regard .
But overall a wonderful experience can’t wait to get back for my 2nd dive .
Cheers
Sangita

Diving in the andamans was a truly thrilling experience. The fish life was spectacular and it was a perfect place to do my advanced open water dives. But, unfortunately, som e of the dive sites had floating debris and fishing line tied on coral. This was very surprising to me since many reviews have shown that the Andaman sea is very clean. But besides this, my trip to the Andamans was a very fun experience and I would happily recommend Suba love to any type of diver

We did 2 activities with scubalov, scuba diving and kayaking. Scuba diving- out of the world experience and really loved it- from training to actual diving. Big thumbs up to scubalov for that!
Kayaking—— worst experience with shankar- they charge so much for it but nothing special to experience, what we did was sunrise kayaking- we travelled only few meters along the shore (where we could gone by walking) and some random non structured rambling, we didn’t see any mangroves nor did we see sunrise because it was not a point from where sunrise could be easily seen.
Scubalov should really improve it, customers hard earned money should not go in waste like this

Scubalov made my time in Havelock really special. They are the premier dive shop in Havelock, with an amazing crew, and one of the few shops with both direct ocean access and fast boats that are able to get to the best dive sites that are farther out, like Dixon’s Pinnacles and Johnny’s Gorge.
I was fortunate to get Karishma as my dive guide for four days. She is so calm underwater, I felt immediately at ease. We took our time meandering along the coral, where she would point out various fish and macro. We spent 5 minutes next to a large octopus, which is one of my dive highlights to date. In addition, Karishma provided a lot of interesting information about the history of the Andamans, and the people who live and work there.
The four days of diving were spectacular, and I am eager to get back to the Andamans to dive with Scubalov and Karishma again.

Written 7 June 2019
Would they capture videos and pics while diving and give it to us? What is the cost?
Written 31 May 2018
Yes they would capture pics and videos and give it to you. There is no separate charge for this and is part of the package. You can call them up and ask the latest rates. You can also use their Wi-Fi for free and upload the pics to social media or mail if you want.

If you're landing at Port Blair on the 29th, youll be too late to dive at Havelock on the same day.
You can dive on the 30th, 1st and 2nd. Head back to Port Blair on the 2nd at 4pm after your two dives.

Hi ! Can u help in deciding if the shore scuba dive experience as good as the boat dive experience, in terms of depth, undersea beauty / life / coral ...
To what depth do they take u in case of shore discover scuba dive n how is the view ?
Thanks n Best wishes,
Arun.
Written 12 October 2017
No the boat dive is a totally different world. The shore dive is more like an extension of the confined water dive experience. The shore dive was 5-7 meters and in the boat dive we reached 20 metres depth for sure

for scuba diving..is it necessary to know swimming or not?
Written 12 September 2017
It is not necessary that you should know swimming to do scuba . You are accompanied with a certified trainer / guide while you go for the dive.
