The ride to Elephant Beach is by itself an amazing experience. The activities on the beach are exciting and are worth the try. Please do not wait for complementary snorkeling as it leads to wasted efforts. The changing rooms and restrooms are poorly maintained and are completely dark.

This beach is alive from morning 8 am to evening 5 pm. After that it is only for elephants. This beach offers snorkeling, scuba diving, jet Skiing, para sailing and other activities, We watched amazing coral reefs, colorful fishes and other marine life. The fees for these activities are little steep but still worth trying. Full face snorkeling is safe and even non-swimmers can enjoy. The travel to this beach from Havelock island is through ferries with 10 pax with full safety gears,

operating hours are 8 am to 1 pm. acitvities start at 9 am. one can reach via hike through a forest (not the easiest, especially in rainy season one must avoid) or via boat from jetty. multiple activities, snorkeling is quite good.

One of the famous attraction of Havelock Island. Primarily in this island you can do all the water sports activities like snorkeling, Scuba Diving, para-sailing, Banana Boat ride etc.

However the reason I have rated it less is because of the Changing Room Facility. When young women and girls are going and doing the water activities inevitably they need to change clothes. There is only one changing room that too without any light .

When I entered the changing room it was stinking and was hardly able to see anything since it was a rainy day.

Also a note of caution try to take a boat which has a shade while riding from Havelock to Elephant beach especially while it is raining else you will be half or full wet before reaching the island..

Food is little expensive in this Island since none lives here and the vendors commute from Havelock Island.

Finally in case if you are not interested in Water Sports you can keep this beach optional but a water sports lover keep it in your to do visit list :-)

Please make sure the sea is not rough otherwise the water sports are not operational. Beach as such is only used for water sports. It has facilities for changing rooms etc.

If you love water activities, particular underwater walk, then this is the place for you. However, it gets overcrowded and the vendor selling foot items and beverages gets very loud. Since I explored the beach almost in its entirety, it offers a good trekking opportunity but be mindful of unpleasant filth that you might encounter.
