This is THE PLACe if you want to do ANY kind of water activity/sport in Swaraj Dweep. The water is pristine turquoise blue, the sand is white with mangrove forest as boundary.
Two ways to reach. By boat or a 2km trek through jungle.
I took the trek route and its worth it. You shall see mangrove forest on the way, many old and local trees and if luck has it in store for you, SNAKE! Take a guide while going this way. It shall cost 500 INR.

List of available activities:
1) Seawalk (Rs. 3200, Rs. 500 for photos/video)
2) Parasailing (Rs. 3200, Rs. 300 for photos/video)
3) Snorkeling (Complimentary 15 mins)
4) Deep sea snorkeling (Rs. 1000 including photos/video)
5) Different types of inflatable boat rides (Rs. 600, Rs. 200 for photos/video
6) Jetski
7) Glass bottom boat Ride

No scuba available here.

You can get tickets for most of the activities in the Havelock jetty where you start your speedboat ride to Elephant Beach. The speedboat ride to and from the beach will cost you Rs. 1000 per person and Rs. 500 for child. The only other way to get to the beach is to trek 2 hrs through the vegetation.

Deep sea snorkeling is a must try even if you don't know swimming. The guide is very professional and will take to till 5m depth to see wonderful corals, different varieties of fishes, feed the fishes etc.. Completely safe.

Seawalk is also a wonderful experience and is a bit cheaper than other places in India.

Parasailing is a bit expensive but you have 3 minutes of high altitude sailing from a place far from the shore. They DO NOT dip you in the water because of safety constraints.

For kids below 4 years old, you can do duck boat (inflatable) riding with the family and Jetski. Jetski will have a guide sitting behind you (the driver). You can have your kid stand in front of you in the Jetski (like in a scooter).

You only get 3hrs time there which is not much considering the amount of activities here. So choose 3 activities you like the most and get to it as soon as you land in the beach.

Locker and restroom facilities are available for a small fee. Changing rooms (Males and Females) are available for free.

There are also some small fruit and chat vendors that you can use for refreshments. The papdi chat in particular was good.

Amazing beach, lots of water adventure options are available in the Elephant Beach. There are only two ways to reach the beach, one is by boat from the Havelock jetty and the other one is by trekking through a 1.8km reserved tropical rainforest. If you go by trekking, then PLEASE DO HIRE A GUIDE…. You can choose a guide from the Elephant Beach Walking Point…. We felt lucky that we took a guide as there are several paths in the forest and there are lot of snakes including king cobra…. So take a guide, he will also help you book various water rides, will show you a lot of worthy things about the reserved forest, etc… We must mention Sanjit, our guide to Elephant Beach, an extremely calm and humble boy and also extremely cautious through the jungle…. Overall it was a memory for a lifetime….

Polluted, crowded and nasty experience. Who travels to Andaman and wants this??? There must have been over 100 speed boats all with fumes wizzing around the bay. Just stand by a road in Chennai if you want this experience. The noise is also deafening. Everyone is crammed into a 100m stretch of the beach. The coral swimming is about 10m off the beach but you have to pay 800 rupees per person to be allowed to swim near it. The jet skis almost collided into people on the floats twice when we were there - definitely an accident waiting to happen. We walked in from the road with a guide (not advisable during the rainy season as we found out). Our guide kept telling us we were not allowed to swim - we ignored him and found a quiet place further down the beach. Seriously, this is the worst example of tourism in India.

There are two ways to reach the beach. By boat which costs around 1000 rupees. Or a trek through the jungle of around 2 Km.

Taking a guide through the trek is optional and costs around 500 rupees. Although the pathway through the jungle is well demarcated . It is dense mud in places....slippery and easy to loose your footing. Taking a guide is advised
We didn't take a guide and did not have a pleasant time navigating the slippery mud .
Elephant beach is only for water activities.
Snorkeling is 1000. Other rides like jet ski is 600. Sea walk was closed.
Found the beach to be to overhyped
