'Gypsy Divers' is a PADI 5 star certified Dive resort, favorably located on Beach Number 2, Govind Nagar, in the very heart of Havelock Island. Our faculty has highly qualified and experienced divers, who offer both dive experiences, and Amateur to Pro certification courses. Our strengths include a low student to teacher ratio, ensuring personal attention and greater learning; and well maintained diving gears and equipment's, assuring hygiene and safety. Because your personal safety is our foremost priority, our training techniques and procedures follow international guidelines stringently. We are also one of the few diving centers in the island to own diving boats. We sail 2 certified diving boats and 1 dunngi boat, giving us the flexibility to accommodate larger groups at once. At Gypsy Divers on Havelock Island, we embarked on a PADI course that exceeded all expectations. Poonam tailored our learning, while Vidya and Achrita ensured seamless operations. The food at Cafe Lava, especially the Honey Chilli Paneer and Focaccia Sandwich, was delightful. Rohan and his team provided thorough and patient training. We made lifelong friends in Harshada, Ruban, and Aryan, adding depth to our dive experience. The center's travel consultant facilitated easy transfers and ferry bookings. Memorable dives at Lighthouse and Red Pillar sites completed the experience. Gypsy Divers is the perfect blend of professionalism, friendship, and adventure.

My decision to complete the Open Water Diver course with Gypsydivers turned out to be absolutely fantastic! Poonam and her team were incredibly supportive, ensuring every step of the course felt comfortable and safe, making the entire experience smooth and thoroughly enjoyable.
Opting to stay at the dive center was a great choice; the place had a fantastic vibe and offered comfortable rooms. The cafe served delicious food, which was an unexpected delight.
I highly recommend Gypsydivers to anyone considering a diving course. I couldn't find a single aspect to critique; they exceeded my expectations at every turn. Eagerly anticipating more dives with this incredible team!

The staff is beyond amazing! They’re very friendly and accommodating and genuinely made my entire experience very smooth and convenient. I was assigned the dive master Rohan, he was really great and even Poonam and the other divers helping me back hand were very well trained and knew exactly what they were doing.

Stayed here for 3 nights with family and did 4 boat dives and DSD. Instructors were excellent. Rooms were good. Have a small cafe which is good.

We had booked the scuba diver course along with stay at the gypsy diver resort for 4 days. The team was welcoming from the time we came for check-in and made us get ready for the first session. They do the sessions in shallow ocean water. Being a completely new experience of going out to sea combined with weather becoming rough (it started raining at the time of the planned dive), I got worried about continuing the course. That is where Poonam stepped in and gave me the comfort, security and guidance of conquering my fears and going through the entire experience. She did a great job of not forcing me but letting me take my own time to get comfortable with diving. I could not have imagined a better experience anywhere else. She and the team were caring and ready to listen which I think is very important in an instructor. My husband completed his open water diver course.
The resort was clean and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend to book the same resort. Cute cafe and friendly staff added to make it a homely stay.
We would recommend this to anyone looking to do a scuba diver course.

We did scuba diving with gypsy divers at havelock. Our overall experience was really good. The instructors explained everything thoroughly and attended to all our doubts and queries. We received excellent service there.

Completed both PADI open water and advance open water course with gypsy divers .
It was great learning experience and enjoyed through out the course. From choti to owner Santosh everybody was friendly and ready to help. Santosh is a very jovial person encouraging to dive not only with gypsy but overall.
Rohan my instructor was well focused on form, technique and skills and very clear in communication. Marshall, saw say and all the gypsy boys were friendly as well as great dive buddies.
It was the perfect introduction to underwater world. It was great experience to explore Gypsy reef, oval reef, red pillar, light house and the wall with gypsy.

Very well trained instructors and well equipped diving centre. The entire staff comes forward to make you comfortable. Vidya who is well informed and made us comfortable.
It was our first diving session and the instructor Marshall was so friendly and trained us in a fun way. They allow you to get accustomed to the environment and do not rush you to finish the training. We were taken to the Light House site for deep sea diving and were able to see varieties of under water species including baby sharks. It's worth spending a little extra than the other diving centres nearby. A wonderful experience indeed, thank you so much for this.

I stayed with Gypsy divers for my Open Water certification as a solo woman traveller. I booked it last minute after talking to Poonam who convinced me I should make this trip :) And boy did I have the time of my life! The staff was very friendly all the way from Vidya at the reception , to Bheem in house keeping . Special mention to Rommel, my instructor who was very crystal clear in his communication and made things easy as well as interesting for me ! The rest of the dive crew was also very kind and patient - Kheelay , Marshall and Tua. The rooms were very clean and well maintained ( which was super imp to me ) and the location was perfect - super close to the beach. I didn’t realise I will feel bad leaving on the last day :) the Tsunami has damaged a lot of reefs in the islands and would love to see Gypsy do their part in restoration efforts !

we ask you apology for that your photograph was not upto the mark. we ask you sorry for that. we used best cameras & our photographers are trained skilled, but if weather and underwater conditions visibility is not supporting then we couldn’t deliver the best of the best.
