Tons of public access points to fish the river. Catfish and smallmouth all year long. Steelhead trout from late fall through early spring.

This is one of good ones that are in the Lorain County Metro Parks collection. There is ample parking and the trails are well-maintained. There are some entry-points to the banks of the Black River itself. All-round, it's a nice metro park.

Drove through the reservation this morning, trees are starting to get beautiful colors but still a lot of green.

A great place for walking! Beautiful paths with mile markers to keep you informed on how far you've gone. Various points of entry to tailor your walk/run.

Our family likes to head here to enjoy the bike trail. The part we bike is mainly shaded and flat, although there are hills if you want to go further.

Great all around nice park. I have a long history with the park. Used to hang out here as a teenager- now I have teenagers! A wide variety of scenery due to the location along the river. Really nice sledding in the winter, nice picnic...More
