Angered some folks for taking photos, despite not being close up to them. Did not realize that, as a public park, photos could not be taken. I assume there are hidden cameras, though, since this is in Dublin? I could understand if I got right up to them or next to them, but I wasn't even close. It was very uncomfortable and we left immediately to avoid escalation. Won't be returning.

Whimsical dancing bunnies. Hares? Bunny splash pad below was not flowing water. Nice open park with large rocks in the grass for sitting or climbing. Duck pond. Visiting cobra chickens on the way south. Walked around bunnies several times looking at the items embedded in the statues.

I decided that the dancing rabbits was a perfect place to view the eclipse. They are high on a hill and provided a great viewing platform. The actual statues are pretty amazing up close with bits of metal objects imbedded into the rabbits.

Ballantrae Community Park is a slightly odd (to me) park in Dublin Ohio. The area topography is flat and the neighborhood is a newer residential area, but they have deliberately set aside this park for greenspace and a place to play.
The park is itself mostly flat with a lot of grass and a large man-made pond. In the summer they have a splash area I'm sure the neighborhood children love.
We came in mid-March to see the Dancing Hares. They are on a round man-made hill that is about 50 feet tall. The three hares or rabbits themselves are over 20 feet tall each.
It's certainly fun to see them from the road, but you'll want to walk up the hill (there is a spiral path) to get a closer look. They were made by London artist Sophie Ryder out of all kinds of scrap. If you look closely at the rabbits you will see everything from gloves, to scissors, to industrial gears making up the rabbits themselves.
This is actually one of several odd roadside attraction-like things to see in Dublin, a Columbus suburb. Most people will also want to see the large cornfield, about miles away and there is also a monument to Chief Leatherlips.
This is worth a detour on a nice day.

Really cool park area that has the Dancing Bunnies artwork ...and a water park area to cool off on hotter days. Don't just look at the bunnies from far away but climb up the mound to see them up close and discover all the interesting bits and pieces that make up the statue. Really cool! This park sits at the entrance of Tartan Fields neighborhood and Dublin Golf Club which is worth driving through. Quaint neighborhood and houses.

Dublin has so many wonderful parks, and we stopped by this park on our way to another park, so our kids did not get wet in the fountains because we didn't have a lot of time. We really enjoyed the Rabbits! We spent a fair amount of time searching for the different objects that were in the rabbits. We also enjoyed a short walk in the park and climbing on the huge boulders. There are nice walking paths all around the park.

I read some complaints about this park and decided to write a review. The City of Dublin is a very nice little town and offers a long list of wonderful parks (60 - look them up for fun) and this park is fantastic. Not only is there a very interesting piece of public artwork here, there is a free splash park to anyone who would like to make the drive over to Avery/Woerner Temple. Did I mention there are restrooms, too? The fountains cycle through various programs and some are certainly better for bigger kids but it's well designed and allows kids of all ages to have fun. Come early if you want a table but many just set up on the grass and spend an enjoyable time here. Have fun!

Dublin has too much money. The sculpture is good to look at but a waste of tax payer's money. This fact is why we
moved away.

A quick trip from our hotel and a nice diversion for a half hour. The sculpture is impressive and very interesting to see all the recycled materials used in construction. The whole family enjoyed this little side trip; we'd love yo come back sometime when the water feature is open to play.

I didn't see any dogs or signs saying no dogs. I imagine if you had your dog on leas it wouldn't be an issue. However, it's primarily for children. If looking for a great dog park there is one near the dancing rabbits that is excellent with water fountains and much more just for dogs. It's Heratage Dog Park managed by the city of Hilliard: .hilliardohio.gov/play/park-locations/heritage-trail-dog-park. My dog LOVES this park.
