The Conservatory does a butterfly exhibit to is really nice. The butterflies land on you and it is a nice experience. The different kinds and colors on these insects is amazing! They also have a lot of interesting glass all around.

The conservatory has an impressive collection of plants divided into various climate zones. Woven into these displays are an impressive collection of blown glass pieces. There is usually a special show going on..Christmas, Spring, Cactus, Violets etc. The grounds around the conservatory also contain beautiful gardents, a community garden, and sculptures. The Conservatory is a nice size....not overwhelming but certainly... More

The Conservatory remains a great in-town day trip. It's location is convenient. The cost is tolerable. Research the date when the butterflies are released and have a once in a life experience.

My husband and I usually visit Franklin Park Conservatory every two years or so. It is a beautiful place to go, especially if you need some greenery to surround yourself with in the winter. You can easily see the whole place including the outside in two hours or less or you can make a day of it and just sit... More

I was just there today for an event in the Wells Barn. This is the new event space on the property. I have been to a few events there and everything has always been first class. The food is always good and the space is really good with an onsite bar area. The grounds are always kept so beautiful so... More

Have visited FCPBG several times, new exhibits are always terrific and their holiday lighting and music are a seasonal highlight. Admission fees are reasonable and memberships even more so. Highly recommend!

Before Ameriflora 92, Franklin Park & Conservatory was a dump. With the renovations to the park and the conservatory the place has been a gem in Columbus. The four different areas in the conservatory are a great place to see the biodeversity in our world. From a dessert, to the Himalaya mountains, to a jungle rain forest, the place is... More

Almost every time I have visited Columbus I have found the time to stop off at the Conservatory. Lots to see and admire and very nice in the winter time to see greenery.

The permanent gardens are excellent. watch for the rotating exhibits. We once saw Chihuly in The gardens there, which was amazing. There are usually demonstrations in the classroom areas. Good family attraction.

I have visited the conservatory several times over the years, primarily in the winter months. When it gets to be February-March, I need to go and be reminded of the beauty of colors other than Ohio brown. It's always warm and cozy in there. I enjoy the butterflies as there are wonderful photo opportunities. The Chihuly pieces are exquisite as... More
