The short north is one of the best places for all out of towners or locals to visit. There are so many electric coffee shop s, boutiques, restaurants, art stores, bars ... you name it, it is there. There are numerous parking lots and many...More

You need to manage your expectations with a visit to this area. If your expectation is to find a plethora of gallery options, I was disappointed with what we found. We attended the monthly gallery hop and that seemed much more geared to just drinking...More

There is a large variety of shops and eating places in the area. Worth a look around, easy to park if you have to use a car.

Still love the short north but it has become overrun with restaurants and bars and certinly lacking the kind of art galleries and small local unique shops that it used to have.

The food at Hubbard was very good and plentiful. North Market has everything you ever need for food, and cooking.

This is the perfect area of town to stay in- you can walk to just about every part of the city, or there is a free bus. Goodale Park is just a block off. Tons of restaurants, bars, and galleries. Several parking garages.

This business district has a small town feel. High street is lined with unique shops. There are also many pubs. The folks we talked to at the shops and pubs were very friendly. Don't miss this gem in Columbus.

Walked through Short North, enjoyed window shopping and visited the Market - eating our way through it!

We were in Columbus for another event and took time out to see Short North after watching a documentary about it on TV at our hotel. It's a charming place, but I have to say, the documentary was better than the real thing.

Nice area to walk around for shopping and eating. The downside is it's very crowded almost all of time and parking can be a nightmare. You have to be very careful not park in permit parking and the garages are often full or close to...More

During the day meters are available on side streets, However, don't park without a meter, You will be ticketed or towed. Also, I often go to the north market. You can park and shop there, and you get a certain amount of free... More

I am sorry that I am just now getting back to you. Yes, I would suggest seeing the Short North. If you go during the day it will be quieter and may make for a nice stroll. If you go at night it can get a little crazy but... More

The side streets are not crowded during the day and you may be able to walk in the streets, but high street would be more difficult for a wheelchair. Take your time and go midweek during the day. The near by Arena district... More
