If you're a book lover, this is the place to go. It's a maze of books. Quite cramped with thousands of books in a small space (small 32 rooms) but still well organized. You can find almost all genres of books - fiction, non-fiction, cookbooks, biographies, travel and a lot more. And all of these are sold at a highly... More

This store has the best book selection of any independent bookstore in Ohio. You can spend hours in this place finding great deals and books you wouldn't see anywhere else. It's fun wandering around the stacks looking for little treasures. It's bibliomaniac paradise.

I absolutely love books and was in heaven in this store. Each room has a theme and there is nothing missing. I spent about an hour here found several book I wanted for cheap and left happy! They also have coupons on their website.

Came here on a visit from out of town, and my friend took me as she knew I loved books. The place is quite claustrophobic, however, it's well organized and thought out. I really liked how the music changed from each room you entered, as if you entered a new world. It's great for browsing and the prices were very... More

I could spend days in this place! This is literally a bibliophile paradise. I tend to get a little claustrophobic in here, though, and have found that Monday - Thursday 10 a - 4 p seems to be the least crowded times for me to browse without feeling uncomfortable. Not only is there something for everyone...There's an entire ROOM for... More

I would have loved this bookstore if there had been no people in it. Yes, there were dozens of rooms and lots of nooks and crannies, but it was filled with people and I could hardly squeeze through a couple of times because there were so many people in the too-tight spaces. I was pretty disappointed because I wanted to... More

What an incredible find in the German Village area of Columbus---a 32-room reader's heaven. Leave yourself ample time to explore this crazy maze of a book store. The rooms are set up by topic/theme, and there is every book you've ever heard about and those you never new existed. If you can't find it here, you won't find it anywhere.... More

We came here based on everyone's recommendations and it's ok. I mean it's a bookstore, a big bookstore. I was thinking that it had a selection of old and new books but they were all new. It's a big store to browse around and if it's crowded like on the weekends it's a little claustrophobic.

My wife and I visited here yesterday during our day long celebration of 4 years of marriage. We are both self-described book nerds, and The Book Loft is 32 rooms of pure book bliss!! They had so many books, including some outside under an awning, that I told my wife we'd have to come back just to enjoy it all!!... More
