If I had been going home that day (which was 3 hours away), I would have loaded up the cooler! What an interesting place. They have every kind of meat, fish, pastry, fresh fruit you could imagine. The inside of the one building is absolutely beautiful. It is a little crowded, but well worth the trip to see. A must-see... More

This market alone makes me want to move to Cleveland. There is a wide assortment of produce and meats at very reasonable prices. We bought some incredible pretzel bread. The wide selection of foods include sticky rice, creme fraiche, British style meat pies, and homemade gnocchi. The neighborhood includes a number of beer gardens/restaurants as well.

Wow! What a delightful shopping experience for quality meats, cheeses, pasta, pierogis and baked goods. Wonderful and wide variety of quality fruits and vegatables as well. Must stop while in Cleveland!

It was raining so we needed to find an indoor place to walk. So much to see here. Perogies, canolli, hugh loaves of bread, European chocolate, crepes, and freshly made sausages.

This was a pleasant surprise to find in a relatively simple big city like Cleveland. The food and produce offerings were plentiful, fresh, and local. This reminded me of Cork, Ireland's fresh market. We had an air B&B and this allowed us to stay in and cook AMAZING meals.

Out of towners visiting Cleveland and was very glad we made it a point to stop in. I had some great coffee and we bought some fruit and treats to take back to our hotel. It would have been better if I could have shopped for some of the great meat & bread to have a BBQ, but there's something... More

This is a must visit and a must support venue for all visitors and locals alike! The West Side Market is an icon - there's really nothing like it - as nice as it - anywhere else. If you're into organic, a must visit. If you're into meat, a must visit. If you're into architecture, a must visit. If you're... More

It's a fantastic market! Tons of meats and Eastern European flavors. Parking is a train wreck at peak hours though.

The family visited on a trip to see the Cavs. It was overwhelming. Two in our party arrived at 7AM, which is what we should have done. We arrived at 10AM and the market was wall to wall people. The Italian pastries, breads, and cold cuts were overwhelming and choosing posed quite a problem. The lines were quite long, but... More
