I have been going to this museum my whole life. I love the armor court and the renaissance/medieval sections. The remodel is absolutely lovely.

Not only does the museum offer interesting special exhibits, their permanent collection is outstanding. Also, they collaborate with the local community to offer unique programs. For example, on the night of my visit a group of music students from Case Western Reserve University gave a Baroque musical performance in one of the galleries. The performance was free and open to... More

We live in Philadelphia, which has a world-class art museum to which we are members. Nevertheless, we were 'blown away' by the CMA. We spent the afternoon there, and we could have returned for another full day if we did not have appointments at the Cleveland Clinic. The building is beautiful, and the exhibits are thoughtfully arranged. And the staff... More

This is a world class museum. Everything here is top notch and the exhibits are presented in a cohesive fashion. The docents are extremely knowledgable and friendly.

My girlfriend loves museums. She wanted to go. She says it's the best museum she has been in except for D.C. There were many pictures and paintings but also artifacts, lots and lots of artifacts. The place to eat in the museum was pricy and very slow, but the food was good. Recommend for sure if you like museums at... More

I've been travelling in and out of Cleveland for decades, but never made time for this museum - wish I'd visited much sooner. Beautiful facility, amazing collection, and it is free! People forget that more than a century ago, Cleveland was one of the leading business centers in the world, with scores of millionaires. Many of them were patrons of... More

Not only are there some incredible pieces, artifacts, and displays from a vast variety of times and places, it's SO aesthetically pleasing, SO easy to get into, such a fair price to visit, and SO under-utilized by the locals, it is one of THE best museums of ANY kind in the US. It's 15 minutes from the Rock and Roll... More
