Public Square is an amazing place to visit. It’s in the center of Cleveland with a lot of deep history and nostalgic roots. The Square itself boasts a war memorial, bronze statues, a small park, fountain and has many major buildings around it including a church, hotel, casino and Key Bank Headquarters among other notables.

One of Cleveland’s best known spots, it’s clean and a nice place to relax. No one there aggressively panhandling, though it was 35 degrees and snowing.

The Civil War monument is beautiful, especially inside. Free to visit, but donate a dollar or two to keep it going.

Enjoyed ice skating and the snow in Public Square. Recommend for December with more to do. The hot cocoa was great and Santa was there as well!

From the city's founding the New England style square was designed to be at the center. Today, it has been reconstructed to hold more civic gathering spot in the city's financial center. It was originally 4 separate squares but 10 years ago redesigned for more and larger gathering space. Today the square still holds the historic Soldier's and Sailor's monument from the Civil War as well as a statue of Moses Cleveland, town founder. We walked through the space around 7:00 when we arrived downtown and walked to see the buildings. Good Public Area.

Public Square is the most central square of downtown Cleveland. It's a nice curved-rectangular square with green space and beautiful Sailors and Soldiers Civil War Monument.
While the area is beautiful during the day it becomes very sketchy at night with lot of beggars and homeless.

Attractive space, that must be delightful in the summertime. I like the clever paving stones and curved edges of the space.

The public square is a meeting point, activity point, play area for kids and just a nice little break from the city life in the middle of Cleveland. The place was busy with people relaxing, meeting or just going for a stroll. A very nice area.

My toddler loved the splash pad! It was pretty hot that day! Locals are friendly and my toddler loved playing with the local kids. The local kids were pleasant! Cute downtown square!

If you are looking for a great place to stay in downtown Cleveland, look no further than the Renaissance Public Square. From the time you check in you will be greeted by friendly staff members waiting to assist your every need. If you are fortunate enough to visit the Concierge Lounge it is hosted by some of the greatest folks you will find. When I go to Cleveland, I will only stay at the Renaissance.

Thank you to Ms. Chambers for all the Appreciation Day reminders. They are fantastic!

Great job everyone.
