It's a little hard to find the trails, but very nice hiking trails, beautiful scenery, and not very crowded. Also a nice marina if you want to boat and/or paddle.

When my family was there, the waiter in the restaurant said only lodge guest were permitted in the pool; so we did not violate their policy. I can't imagine how rude you would have to be to do so.

Salt Fork sits in an area named the "Sasquatch Triangle" as it has been a hotbed of activity. The park itself has a primitive campground area named "Bigfoot Ridge" and the park hosts a few cryptid conventions yearly.
