Our room was very nice. Clean and spacious, there are plenty of walking trails to go on. Lots of lake to boat on and fish in. Lakeside cabins to stay in if you don't want to stay at the lodge.

Beautiful Lodge and Lake! We love boating here! Trees gorgeous and deer are everywhere! The pool outside of the lodge is very nice. The rooms are dated but maintained. Food was actually very good for a State Park.

We have stayed at this lodge several times and love the beautiful surroundings. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Our room had a balcony with a lovely view. We had a very good supper in the lodge restaurant.

Plenty of room to find your own space & enjoy the outdoors. A variety of activities, if that is what you want. If you are like me, and seek solitude, you can find that as well.

Atayed for the weekend to play golf, kayak, and hike. The golf course was very tight with lots of hills and dog legs, but the greens, tee boxes, and fairways were well maintained. We got to kayak the lake and they have a nice boat...More

When my family was there, the waiter in the restaurant said only lodge guest were permitted in the pool; so we did not violate their policy. I can't imagine how rude you would have to be to do so.

Salt Fork sits in an area named the "Sasquatch Triangle" as it has been a hotbed of activity. The park itself has a primitive campground area named "Bigfoot Ridge" and the park hosts a few cryptid conventions yearly.
