Yearly event in Burton. You can watch apple butter being made in large copper kettles in the open. Many historical buildings to check out. Vendors outside of the festival on the town green. Also an ox roast. You can buy newly made jars of apple butter, apple fritters and yummy kinds of fair foods. Only downside is the gate opened... More

This charming well preserved village was like stepping back in time. We were able to wander around and explore freely, or ask questions of those people that were working. The blacksmiths were very interesting and informative

A lovely place right next to the Red Maple Inn. A dozen or so small wooden houses, beautifully restored surround a small picture perfect church. A team of volunteers work hard to make this place into a real open air museum, a must if you are in the area.

This is an amazingly wonderful appreciation of our ancestry and their world. Plan a full 2-3 hour tour of restored buildings, assembled at Century Village. From the General Store, Apothecary, One-room School house and homes from 1798 to the end of the 19th century. You will be impressed with the tools, medical treatments, and medicines of the past. You will... More

Actual last time I was there was 05 with my fiance. Burton is my home town...always will be. And yes...I married that fiance😊. Walk the streets around midnight....then tell me you're sad you went! Happy memories!

Wasn't open the day we walked around, but very quaint and charming. We would like to go back when the park is open; has what looks to be a really nice general store.

We live in the town where Century Village is located. We attend most activities offered there. My children grew up going to pioneer school there. It's a great advantage to have this museum in our community. Schools come from far and wide. Civil War is the annual highlight but all activities are excellent family fun. Apple Butter Festival is yummy... More

Century Village in Burton offers historic village in lovely country setting -- take a stroll on your own, a guided tour on the weekend, or attend one of their many festivals. Each building restored and maintained by dedicated volunteers. The village is open weekends, April through December, so check their website for information.

A quaint place to walk around and learn about the history of The Western Reserve! I was a teacher and our second graders loved it! I would recommend you go on a guided tour when you visit!

this little 19th century village is right in Burton village. It is free to go in and walk around when there isn't a festival going on. It is peaceful and beautiful. It has narrow roads, a church, a seamstress building, a one-room schoolhouse, jail, depot, blacksmith shop, caboose, many houses, bandstand, general store, etc. The view out the back section...
