About
Automobile history comes alive in Snook's Dream Cars Automobile Museum, fittingly located adjacent to one of America's first cross-country highways, U.S. 6, in Bowling Green, Ohio. Your journey in the "past lane" begins as you step into an authentically recreated 1940s-era Texaco filling station, featuring an extensive collection of "automobilia" - everything from hood ornaments and window cranks to seat covers, bug remover and backseat touring games. You will continue past an operational, four-bay mechanics' area where vintage vehicles are repaired, and into a working museum of coin-operated amusements, ranging from pinball and slot machines to a Model-T Kiddie Ride (bring along your quarters!). You won't want to miss the antique pedal cars, Texaco promotional gimmicks or the classic collection of automobile decanters, some still holding their original Jim Beam brew. When you've had your fill of these "time machines" wheel into a spectacular showroom of dream cars from the '30s, '40s, '50s and '60s. The Snooks' eclectic collection reflects the elegance of years past. Displayed in authentic settings, these vintage vehicles will take you back to a 1930s general store, a 1940s stroll throught downtown Bowling Green, a 1950s diner, and a 1960s Sebring raceway pitlane. A collection of classic military vehicles completes the living museum, where all the cars are running, reliable and ready to show. Before you leave, be sure to stop in the gift shop, and take a little bit of history home with you. PLEASE CALL FOR WEEKEND AVAILABILITY.

What a fun experience! Take me back to yesteryear! I love going in someplace where it is clear how much the owner takes pride in what they are doing and that is certainly the case here. Encourage you to visit if cars or antiques interest you at all.

A fantastic collection of restored cars with plenty of memorabilia for the automobile buff, particularly fans of Texaco. The owner and chief mechanic are very friendly, personable and welcoming. Each took the time with us to answer questions, and some off some of the unique characteristics of specific cars. They told us they not only show the cars, but drive them as well! A can't miss stop in the area.

Extremely interesting museum of great cars and signs, miniatures, etc. Worth the time to enjoy it all and we had a very enjoyable conservation with owner Jeff Snook telling us about his collection and how his father years ago was collecting. Oh to have saved our first cars from back in the day.

What a great place to visit if you have an hour and are interested in restored vehicles from the past. The outside looks like a Texaco gas station, and the inside is filled with lots of memorabilia and some really cool cars! It's located just a few minutes from Route 6, Interstate 75, and BGSU. Both Jeff, the owner, and Terry, the mechanic, are personable and engaging. My husband and I really enjoyed our visit!

Well, we found this place through Harvest Hosts as we use them with our RV. What a gem of a place. Such a great little “museum” if you will. So much memorablilia and so well put together, and the gorgeous cars that Jeff has on display and they all run! Neat as a pin, fun, interesting too. We played old slot machines, pin ball, and other fun restored game machines. A step back in history for sure. Loved it. Right off I75 too!

This is a delightful local museum. It is obvious upon meeting the owner how much pride he takes in the cars and memorabilia that he and his father have collected over the years. We took members of our car club and all enjoyed their time their.

Wow...where to even start?!
This place is much more than a car museum! Obviously the one of a kind spectacular cars are the draw, but there's SO MUCH MORE to see! Antique pinball machines, games of checker, slot machines, memorabilia from the past...something for everyone! Give yourself 2 hours...it'll be worth EVERY minute!

Part museum, part restoration shop. The nice man working that day has been there for 20+ years. He’d put a transmission in an Auburn from the 1930s that morning. Lots of neat car-related memorabilia, well displayed. We were there for about an hour and a half. Well worth the time.

My mom, son, and I really enjoyed Snooks Dream Cars! We spent about 45 minutes here with an impatient 8 year old and he loved it! Jeff and Terry are friendly and very knowledgeable on any automobile you can think of.

This place was like a step into the past! A walk into a gas station from days of old. You can visit the working garage (cars currently being restored), reminisce all the "artifacts" and check out the display of cars. It was amazing to see the cars in such great condition from the 30s, 40s 50s +. Jeff Snook, owner, was the perfect host. The whole place was sparkling clean (including the restrooms and floors). Everthing, everywhere shined. The lights dazzled off of the display of old polished automobiles. Well worth the admission of $8 per adult.
