My wife and I had a great time with the Spirit of the Coorong, both on board and during the two guided walks. The two guide on board were very friendly and very knowlegeable. We particularly enjoyed the walk into the sand dunes and the tasting of freshly prepared cockles. We would surely recommend this cruise.

I greatly enjoyed the 6 hour cruise. The two men who led the trip were friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and able to convey that information in an interesting way. For me the highlights were hearing about the birdman bushranger and drinking the freshwater that was dug out of the sand hill. I would say that this trip is only appropriate for... More

An excellent cruise along the Coorong with splendid scenery, abundant wildlife from birds to seals and the boat going into the mouth of the Murray. A very informative commentary both on the boat and on the walk through the dunes. Michael and Robyn, Sydney.

A beautiful day on board the Spirit of the Coorong. It was a very hot day and a great experience of going through the Goolwa lock and cruising to areas that are inaccessible by any other means. Loved going through the mouth of the Murray and hearing the history of the movements of this channel. A lovely day seeing many... More

Best way to see the famous Coorong. Very friendly tour guides, very knowledgeable and informative with National Park experience. Great value with snacks provided as well as a main lunch which I thought was brilliant..A highlight was the provision of beautifull cooked Musells from the area. going through the Barrage was a first , and fascinating with the amount of... Went twice in the past month on the afternoon cruise to the Murray mouth and into the Coorong. Exceptionally interesting commentary from the Skipper and crew. Lots of birds to see and a worthwhile trek across the dunes to the beach where, looking due south, you're 5000+ km from Antartica! Good value including an acceptable lunch. Great for locals as... The trip is excellent, the guides have excellent knowledge. The cost appears high, but it is well worth the money. You visit areas not easily accessed other than with the tour. The morning teas and lunch is very good and adequate. The guides have excellent knowledge, and know where to see the water birds etc. Can fully recommend.

This was a great value for the money and we'll worth the effort getting there. The provided lunch was actually quite good.

A wonderful cruise along the Murray River, passing through a lock, seeing seals, black swans, pelicans and other birds. It was the real "Storm Boy" country. It was exciting hearing the history of the early days and how important the river was for transport and ship building. The boat took us to the mouth of the Murray River Wow! and... More

Brilliant day, excellent commentary from Bain who obviously knew a lot about the area, answered all our questions very patiently. Dave looked after us with food & drinks making our day very special. Can't praise you guys enough for the trip & the food (especially the cockles, they were lush, would have liked to have had crusty bread to dip... More
