Too many mozzies, yet beautiful!

The waterfall was absolutely beautiful and lovely, but there were too many mosquitoes! Don't stand there for too long, you will get 2 bites or even more. Best to jump into the... read more

Went swimming here a few times during our stay. Water was slightly cool but nice when you were in.Water was crystal clear. ' Its a little bit of a drive down a dirt road to get there but the falls are only about 20 meters from the car park. You can also climb to the top of the falls but... More

This was a cool place, a local told me about it so I had to see it for myself. I was first off shocked by its beauty and then shocked that there were so many people there. People were jumping off the cliffs even though there are signs saying not to... But that's just a safety measure they have to... More

A very beautiful spot. Really worth a visit. Not that far from Airlie beach and easy access with your car.

This location is at its best when the waterfall is flowing - so ask a local if its the right time to go as its a bit of a journey to head out there if there's no water.... & if it is flowing a 4WD will save you a long hot hike fairly popular place it does get crowded!

The waterfall was absolutely beautiful and lovely, but there were too many mosquitoes! Don't stand there for too long, you will get 2 bites or even more. Best to jump into the water and start swimming! The waters fantastic, its not too cold and not too warm, very refreshing! A great place to visit, but you must put on mosquito... More

We visited here today! It was wonderful! The waterfall was running and the water wasn't too cold either! One thing I have noticed about the reviews and what they don't mention enough is, TAKE INSECT REPELLENT!!!! TAKE INSECT REPELLENT!!!! The place is absolutely stunning and we recommend 10/10 but just make sure you have something to fight the mosquitoes away!... More

The waterfall was flowing freely and has an amazing swimming hole. Water was very cool but refreshing on a hot summer day. Heaps of room to put your belongings whilst you go for a swim. You can swim directly beneath the falls. There are some mosquitoes so bring repellent if they bother you. The falls are only a short 50m... More

Just pristine and perfect fresh and clean running water, now is the time to visit take BBQ and make it a full day, Don’t jump off the top of the waterfall as there have been a number of accidents there over the years. But you will also find a fool in the water. The area is off the beaten track... More
