We didn't know that this place existed until we were driving past a sign advertising it, and on a whim we went in to visit. I am glad we did! They created the most amazing coffees, and now when we visit other cafes for a coffee we often say, 'not as good as the coffee at Jaques!' We enjoyed it... More

We had lunch as a group of 8 in January. The outdoor eating area is beautiful and picturesque. It can be difficult to find as it is outside of town. The food was quite good, although took quite some time to arrive. Will go back in the future.

We loved this tour. A family run plantation, fascinating to see the plantation and learn about how coffee is grown, a member of the Camelia family - I never knew that, I will drink my coffee with more appreciation now. The story of the struggles the family have been through to get where they are today is really amazing, definitely... More

Don't miss this one. Coffee grown, processed, roasted and brewed here. Great family story of tenacity and commitment over many years. Friendly, bright, helpful, interesting. I wish it was my local cafe.

This plantation is off the main road, but well worth the visit. It's in a lovely rural setting and the staff were great, as was our most enjoyable lunch. We were very fortunate to have a tour, even though there was just the two of us. It was very interesting - we were impressed and inspired by the true pioneering... More

We went to the coffee plantation and decided to do the tour. It's very small and short but the music chosen provided a lot of laughs so we enjoyed it. The quality of coffee wasn't high unfortunately. We didn't eat here but the food looked good.

For coffee and cake this place is amazing. Really enjoyed the ambiance and surroundings - reminded me of a Hunter Valley Vineyard in NSW. Mostly a good experience but a few things detracted from our visit: - Wait backpacking staff were all grumpy, unemphatic and seemed disconnected - Sad to see that more than half the menu comes from the... Local NQ resident, drove the to the coffee plantation from cairns, I have been a fan of their coffee for a long time, we are very lucky to live in the coffee belt part of Australia. In short, the guy (I presume he was the bosses sun) called me and others "Champ" continually. I got called champ three times, as... More

We arrived just after a factory tour had left and would have had to wait 1.5 hours for the next. We watched a good video, had a decent cuppa and reasonable food, though felt there was little to appeal On the day, staff seemed fairly distracted, so we left before were able to do the tour.

A lovely licensed cafe with outdoor undercover deck. Undercover car parking. Greeted by friendly dogs for a pat at the entry. Wear closed in shoes if you would like a Segway tour. About a half hour drive out of Kuranda.
