My husband and I walked through the reserve just on lunch time and expected the place to be very crowded- we were very wrong! There was a steady flow of people but nothing that dampened our visit. We were told that the 1.7km walk would...More

Beautiful lush rainforest walk. Paths are easy to walk and the wildlife is easy to spot and hear. You can take the walk as fast or slow as you want. Unfortunately there were some walkers who were quite noisy and that did detract from the...More

The Mary Caincross Reserve is a must for anyone staying nearby. Lots of parking, toilets, plenty of picnic tables and bbqs and a stunning loop walk thorough the rain forest. We visited during the early afternoon on a Sunday and the place felt very uncrowded....More

With the recent upgrade, this is well worth the visit and we saw lots of wildlife on one of the many walk options. The visitor center is delightful too with lots of things for young kids to do.

Wonderful place to take a picnic and just relax. Sunset is breathtaking, especially during a lightning storm.

Great day in the rainforest, weather wasn't great but it made the visit more exciting. First time we saw a snake in the wild and my brother was so excited about that as this is his third visit here.

A really great little place. An island of rainsforest protected, in the middle of the sunshine coast area. We loved the information centre, the singing frogs, and of course the walk. We saw some lizards, and heard so many birds. My daughter loved swinging on...More

I was last here probably 10 years ago and was impressed by the changes and modernization that has taken place - a new information center straddles the entrance to the forest walk - a gold coin donation is requested - there is also a cafe...More

No, I'm sorry you can't take your dog. There is an amazing variety of wildlife- birds of many varieties, reptiles and Pademelons (a type of marsupial).
