We visited here as part of Kuranda rail package tour. Indigenous tour/display very good, animal display's not bad, however all geared for overseas market. We did think people doing the photo with koala thing was terrible, poor old koala being jerked and tugged around for a 10 second photo shoot with overseas tourists, very poor decision from operators, probably should... Or couples. Lots of info about various flora in the rain forest. Also you may have your photo taken, for a price, holding a Kola, or a small croc. They also have 'Roos that you may feed; watch cockatoos; see a Wombat, etc. they also provide a DUCK ride on land and water. Tour guides are very knowledgable and relate... More

We have been to Rainforestation many times as we are locals. We are never disappointed and always have an enjoyable day. The staff are so friendly and lovely. The kids enjoy the ride on the army duck, throwing a boomerang and the animals. We had a lovely buffet lunch. A great day, well worth the money.

We took Skyrail up to Kuranda and took the Rainforestation tour. It was way too rushed for me. They had you on a schedule, so you got to see the aminals, take the duck boat tour and see the aboriginal things...but you didn't have time on your own at the facility. This was our least favorite thing we did on... More

We booked a package through a tour company to Kuranda that included the Skyrail and Train and Rainforestation visit. We should have done more research before booking as I would have much rather had time to spend in Kuranda than been herded around Rainforestation for 3 hours. Upon arrival in Kuranda we were advised to catch the Rainforestation bus. This... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of Rainforestation. We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed by your visit. Certainly when visiting during the peak tourism season, such as school holidays, Rainforestation can be quite busy, but this is actually no different to other Kuranda attractions, such as Skyrail, Kuranda Scenic Railway, or even Kuranda Village itself.... We had a wonderful time with very friendly staff and plenty to see and do. We had a ride through the rainforest in an old WW2 army-duck, got up and close with kangaroos and other native animals, and watched a corroboree and display by local aborigines.

Nice park . Buy the bag of Kangaroo food. You can fed the kangaroos they come over to you. Ok some are lazy and you have to go to them. The ones that just lay there are the best. You can pat them and fed them great photo op. The dingoes are friendly. I patted them through the fence. Not sure... More

We had no expectations when we arrived, but we had a wonderful day! The park is not so big, which makes it very personal, and the staff was really friendly. The guiding was funny and interesting, and we really enjoyed that we had the opportunity to be so close to the animals. Would highly recommend it!

We visited this nature park, and were amazed at the variety of activities that guests could enjoy. After our BBQ lunch, we headed off to amphibious army ducks tour through the rainforest, Amazing fauna. Learned so much about the vegetation. We travelled over land and water. The most enjoyable segment was the Pamagirri Aboriginal Dancers, whose music and dance was... More
