About Snapping Tours
Come on board Snapping Tours and experience the world heritage listed wet tropics. Our tours provide you with an opportunity to learn more about the history and biodiversity of the Innisfail area, together with spotting an abundance of wildlife that call the Johnstone River home. Wildlife you will spot include salt water crocodiles, many bird species and turtles. Our tour guides will take you on a two hour journey around the Johnstone River, so you can experience the beautiful scenery and take a closer look at life above and beneath the waters of the Johnstone River. We have a very keen eye for spotting crocodiles in their natural habitat. They will either be lurking beneath the waters or sunning themselves on the sandbanks. Either way, it is a spectacular sight! During the tours, our tour guides will also check crab pots in the hope of seeing wild caught mud crabs, as well as explaining their general features and their habitat. Complementary drinks

Seeing crocodiles in their natural state was interesting, but just cruising on this tropical Johnstone River was very pleasant, accompanied by very pleasant commentary.

An informative and fun 2 hours on the Johnstone River at Innisfail spotting crocs. The crew made sure we found the crocs, and were very knowledgeable about the area as well. A great way to spend the afternoon on the water

We went on this trip as a group at the suggestion of a local friend. It's a lovely spacious boat with plenty of room. First beer or wine is complementary and the other drinks are very reasonably priced. We cruised along at a lovely pace out to the river mouth and back while the sunset. Returned into Innisfail to see the lights reflecting on the river. This is a terrific cruise, super reasonably priced, would highly recommend.

A great trip in the afternoon for photography and wildlife tourism. Educational component on tour, both men presented accurate information to enhance an understand and appreciate the animals and their ecosystems. Well-presented interpretation, especially interactive, they added to the enjoyment and satisfaction of visitors, on tour, encouraging visitors to return or recommend the venue or tour to others and made sure everyone got to see what they came for!
