Its a good drive out to the gorge, the road is sealed. The gorge lookout is absolutely fantastic, is a must look. We also did the walk down to the gorge, WARNING, this walk is not for the light hearted. The walk down, not so bad is a little treacherous, it's the walk back up is the difficult part. The... More

After spending some time in the Flinders Discovery Centre and being provided with a "What To See Guide" by the Staff, my husband and I set out for the Gorge. This is a self-guided Tour where there are various stops of historical interest along the way. The Guide provided by the Staff at the Centre tells you where to stop... More

Had a great time camping for 2 nights here. Plenty of flies and the walk down takes it out of you, but all is worth it. My boys 6&7 got down in 18min and up in 19 so can be done quite quick if you like. The walk behind campsite 22 is so worth it with the best view around.... More

Did a day trip out from m Hughenden but there is good camping. Arrived at 8am to avoid the heat of the day. Loved the 1.1km Pyramid walk down to the base of the gorge. Very pretty. Well worth the climb back up! Also did the rim walk which was a surprise. There is no information to tell you how... More

A 40 min drive from Hughenden. a view point only is signposted ,not to be missed but if you drive towards the campsite that is also signposted you will be able to walk down to the gorge itself. Be sure to take a hat and plenty of water. There are steps cut into the ground to make it a reasonably easy... More

This was our second time of visiting Porcupine Gorgs & we are still amazed by its beauty. We'd highly recumbent this place for anyone to visit, as long as you are reasonably fit.

Good parking area on rim of gorge with picnic tables/shelters and toilets. Did not venture down into gorge as a long way down means hard climb back. The view from the rim were nothing really exciting, photos on advertising appear to have been taken from the air and are much more impressive.
