This is a good space to visit when it is warmer outside, and will have a good selection of local artists installed, particularly when any of their competitions are running. Call the Council to find out what is showing, not open on weekends

The display was for the "Emerald Art Prize". The talent of the local artists was amazing. It is housed in the local visitor information centre. The staff at the centre were helpful and very friendly. But the pick of things to do was right there...More

This art gallery works as both a tourist attraction and a sales opportunity for local artists. The adjacent street has a block or two of public street artworks. I found that only some of the artworks drew my attention, but they were very good.

This is a small gallery in the building that houses local government and the gallery is for artists in the community. I believe the artists may have done their work at the classes and studio just behind the library across the street. The art is...More

My partner and I went for the annual art awards - amazing works by mainly local artists. Will return! Free entry during the week (M-F 8:30 till 17:30) + evening events every couple of weeks, definitely checking the paper

Called in to see the gallery this afternoon and saw some very nice pieces, including a couple of patchwork quilts. It is not a large display but good to see a small town like Emerald supporting the arts.

I was surprised that there was only one room of art, although some of it was really good. There were a number of local pieces and results of local mentoring; I think the pieces on display would vary based on what was being taught.
