I am a local, and it is good to see this feature of my town is still looking good. I would recommend a viewing to anyone passing through, and the fact the information centre is nearby is a plus.

Right behind the visitors centre, it is somewhat out of place in the middle of the park. Makes a photo opportunity that takes a minute or two: guess it's there to reflect the region historically being a sunflower growing area.

It is a worli's biggest which of itself merits a visit. However it is also a sight to behold anyway, and a tremendous honoring of a very significant painter.

This is a really cute attraction in a place you’d never expect to see it. Our trip was poorly timed, but I believe in April there are fields of sunflowers in bloom about 30 mins from Emerald. Would have loved to see that!!!

The massive sunflower painting is set on a very tall easel located behind the visitors information centre.

Quite an unusual thing to come across - exactly what it says on the tin - a huge representation of a Van Gough sunflower painting on a huge easel - very unexpected!

A road trip throughout Australia must include the landmark of the Picasso painting. One only a few in the world.

Yep. It’s big. Really, really big. Like completely ridiculously big. Apparently it one of seven around the world. It signifies 1 of 7 of Van Gogh’s sunflower paintings. Also Emerald used to produce Sunflower. Strange concept, mammoth scale, interesting feature of the town. Worth the...More
