Crocodile Express operate from 2 locations on the beautiful Daintree River.

The "Upper Daintree Cruise" departs from Daintree Village. Our office and check-in are located in Daintree Tourist Information Centre in the Village centre.

"Lower Daintree Cruise" departs from 300 meters before the Daintree Ferry Crossing, look for the big croc head to check-in.

Both cruises are different in landscape and environment, upper Daintree cruise starts from Daintree Village going through rainforest and country farming pastures with the lower Daintree cruise goes past rainforest and mangroves. Crocodiles, abundant birdlife and reptile can be seen on both cruises. Take one cruise and take the second free ! You are welcome to come back as many times as you like. Go to our website for conditions. There is no better value wildlife cruise in tropical Queensland.

My friend and I took the Crocodile Express tours while staying in Port Douglas for a few days. One ticket gets you onto both tours which is great value. I've seen a lot of reviews complaining about not seeing any crocs, which I do understand and I'd have felt disappointed too, however I also liked the fact that the tours... More

Absolutely loved this cruise and our tour guide Bill was brilliant!! So knowledgable and personable...thanks Bill!! We managed to get close to two crocs which were close to the bank, as my photos show, and two crocs were swimming up ahead in the river. The scenery is absolutely stunning!! Highly recommend this tour!!

There are loads of croc boat trips to choose from on the Daintree river, so I can only speak for the one we did. It cost $28 for adults and $25 for seniors. For this you get unlimited trips, so it's good insurance if you don't see a croc the first time around. Luckily we saw something both times. They... More

In the summer they dont come out of the water much, but our tour guide found one! A big healthy male. We also saw a Jabiru bird. Extra treat. This is a good option if you were like us and just wanted to see a croc in the wild.

Must have been a quiet day we were the only ones on the boat! Lex very informative and visits all the haunts the crocs have been seen! Unfortunately we did only see a small croc but the cruise was a pleasant way to spend an hour, and we got a free pass to do their lower Daintree cruise within a... More

The cruise is nice..the river and the landscape are beautiful..but it do not deserve the name "crocodile express". It s just a normal cruise throught the river..no crocodiles at all.

We had a wonderful day on the Daintree river. Crocodile Express offers a tour from the village and one from the ferry. We were able to do both. On the first tour we saw a huge croc - which was very fortunate as it was high tide. The cruise down the river was very enjoyable. On the second cruise we... More

Even though it was a very wet day and the river was very high due to the torrential rain, our guide managed to find a baby croc in amongst the flooded banks. He was very knowledgeable and showed us how the mangrove trees reproduce and their importance to the rain forest. They even took us with only 3 passengers in... More

After touring the Daintree we went on a bot tour to find some crocodiles. The captain of the boat was so friendly and you could tell he loved his job. We saw some crocs but were told this was the time of the year where they are hardest to spot (dry season is the best time). Even though we didn't... More
