Crocodile Express operate from 2 locations on the beautiful Daintree River.

The "Upper Daintree Cruise" departs from Daintree Village. Our office and check-in are located in Daintree Tourist Information Centre in the Village centre.

"Lower Daintree Cruise" departs from 300 meters before the Daintree Ferry Crossing, look for the big croc head to check-in.

Both cruises are different in landscape and environment, upper Daintree cruise starts from Daintree Village going through rainforest and country farming pastures with the lower Daintree cruise goes past rainforest and mangroves. Crocodiles, abundant birdlife and reptile can be seen on both cruises. Take one cruise and take the second free ! You are welcome to come back as many times as you like. Go to our website for conditions. There is no better value wildlife cruise in tropical Queensland.

After touring the Daintree we went on a bot tour to find some crocodiles. The captain of the boat was so friendly and you could tell he loved his job. We saw some crocs but were told this was the time of the year where they are hardest to spot (dry season is the best time). Even though we didn't... More

We chose croc express for a family trip as you had the option of taking two cruises which we did. Each cruise covered very different areas in terms of flora and fauna. Our first trip was up river with a very informative guide. We only had a small group which was great. I recommend going at low tide as your... More

Exciting boat ride down the Daintree river lead by friendly and informative local guides with a wealth of knowledge and some great stories. Very excited to do both cruises, one on the way up to Cape Trib and one as we returned to Port Douglas, each very different (and one free). Saw some giant crocs, many bats, pythons, local plants... Our journey up the river saw much more than just a big croc. Lex, a born and bred Daintree veteran of 68 years and our guide, took the time to explain the history of the region in terms of both traditional indigenous customs and his own family heritage on the land. He showed us bush tucker and traditional medicines and... More

Beautiful scenery on the river. Our guide provided lots information about the friendly river monsters. We took up the offer of taking 2 cruises for the price of one. First cruise provided no croc sighting. However on the second cruise we weren't disappointed seeing a 4m croc slowly cruising on surface. Awesome sight.

Cruise was lovely, driver was knowledgeable, however there was a complete lack of transparency in regard to seeing crocodiles. They should let you know beforehand the chance of seeing crocodiles based on the weather, time and tide, offer deals in regards to actually seeing them or extending the trip until at least one crocodile is seen. Make sure you ask... More

If you'd like a cruise up and down the Daintree river this is perfect for you. If you would like to see crocodiles I don't reccomend this. We didn't see any and couldn't understand anything our guide was saying as he spoke way too fast and mumbled into the microphone! We booked only 30 minutes before the cruise and we're... More

We did both cruises, not one croc seen on cruise from Daintree Village but lovely scenery. Knowledgeable boat drivers on both boats, go at low tide for more chance of croc sightings.

Amazing. i would recommend this trip to all it was a great overall experience enhanced by the fact that Ray clearly loves his... More
