Declaring an interest here - I live in Cooktown and count Mollo as a friend. He has been running trips on the river for a while now and whenever we have visitors up here, we take them out with Mollo. He is knowledgeable about the river and its environment, and eager to share this beautiful place with strangers. If there... More

Was still on his holidays, but was kind enough to take us on a river and estuary cruise. Unfortunately there was no crocs or birds around. Was a nice 2 hour cruise, with lots of information on places we passed. Much cooler cruising the waterways.

we hired a dinghy for a day while in Cooktown, the boat was delivered to us at the boat ramp by owner Mollo. he was most helpful in pointing out good fishing and crabbing spots on the river, all within a short motor to reach. you had better believe there are crocs in the mangroves, we had one pinch a... A group of us enjoyed our BYO picnic on the midday tour while being steered through the calm waters spotting crocodiles in the mangroves. Skipper Mark , talked knowledgeably about Cooktown, mangroves and crocodiles. Highly recommend this good value 2 hour tour!

At the suggestion of the owner of Hillcrest Guest House we took a boat ride with this company. It was a very enjoyable ride, comfortable, leisurely, the skipper was very engaging and knowledgeable, and we saw some amazing mangroves; the best we have seen on our travels in this part of the world. We also got to see several crocodiles... More

Quite a nice scenic trip for 2-3 km up the Endeavour river. Lots of mangroves but, to be honest, not that much else. The skipper provided general information about the fauna and flora, but it could have been a lot better. If you want detailed info on the ecosystem or history of the area, you'd be better off with a... More

Great value cruise up the Endeavour River with Skipper Mollo. Absolutely recommend. Our group of 4 had a ball. Mollo was easy to contact to organise the cruise and was there with a smile to meet us at the pier ready for our cruise. If you're lucky you might get to see a Croc. We did and were very excited.

At this time of the year there isn't many crocs around due to the crocs swimming down stream to find mates for the breeding season. So unfortunately we didn't see any crocs. But we had a bloody good time going out on the boat with our skipper Mollo! Very informative boat trip. Small group. And you might even get an... More
