We offer an Exotic Fruit Tasting and Orchard Tour every day at 2 pm. There is always ten different tropical fruit on the menu - fruit you have probably never heard of,with names like 'chocolate pudding fruit' and 'creme caramel fruit'.We show you how to prepare and eat the fruit, share interesting stories about the fruit from around the world, and then take you for a walk through the orchard which has more than 2000 fruit trees from the Amazon, Borneo and the Caribbean. This tour is not just a plate of fruit - it offers a special experience which cannot be found anywhere else and is great fun.

We stayed here overnight. Beautiful setting and great accommodation. Breakfast the next day was left for us to help ourselves which was plentiful.

I think of myself as quite knowledgable about tropical fruits but this place certainly showed me a lot of knew things. Their flyer lists 42 fruits and tasting is dependant on seasonality. We tasted 12 fruits the day I was there and 8 were new...More

We stop here every time we go to cape trib. Beautiful trees and the best ice cream. The whole family enjoys it. There is very little choice - you get what has been made, but it is all homemade .

Taking in the sights we thought we'd have a look and try some exotic tropical fruit. Sign posts on the streets lead us up and past it to a dead end. Drove back down the road looking for any clue and asked a local who...More

The property has been sold, the business has been closed, and the owners in their mid sixties have retired and moved to town. All the advertising signage and brochures have been removed. There may be a time lag for some removal requests. The purported conversation...More

This is a magical place, where you can pick freely from an abundance of fruit, stay in your own peaceful and well furnished en suite cabin/studio and swim in your own waterhole in the rainy season. Before you stay just check they have the water...More

This accommodation is no longer run by Cape Trib Exotic Fruit Farm. Cape Trib Exotic Fruit Farm is now operating purely as a commercial orchard. We have sold the tourism part of the property and no longer do fruit tasting tours or B&B. The cottages...More

Just got back from the exotic fruit farm, and I feel stuffed with delicious fruit! The friendly and clearly extremely knowledgeable staff are able to give a massive amount of information while not feeling like a lecture. I wish I had taken a notebook, as...More
