We have kayaked the Babinda Creek three times and never been dissapointed in the varierty of colours, wildlife and scenery that change throughout the year. This is an ecellent half day suitable for anyone who can swim and doesn't mind some easy paddling. This creek would have to be the cleanest and clearest water in the world and it's not... More

Went with my best friend and her daughter in one kayak and my husband,me and our 2 yr old daughter at the time in the other. It was a lovely easy trip down past some rainforest, then through some cleared farm land. We took a snack and had a little picnic along the bank. When we made it to the... More

What better way to spend a wet afternoon in the tropics! Spent 3 hours kayaking down a beautiful waterway with cane and rainforest surrounding you. Crystal clear water and a great time had by all. I think its almost better to do this on a rainy day as its never really that cold and just beautiful to see it in... More

Their website says it is a relaxing kayak experience. It certainly is. We spent several hours just slowly meandering down the creek - stopping off for dips in the clear clean cool water. Because we were a mid week visitor - we were the only ones in the water. Birds, ducks and fish - were our only companions. Gary (... More

You paddle, or just drift, down the creek. You can stop on the small sandbanks and eat your snacks and have a swim. Use the ropes tied to the trees to swing into the water. When you reach the end point, you just give the owner a call and he picks you up and brings you back to your car.... More

We had a wonderful morning kayaking thanks to Gary at Babinda Kayak Hire - who welcomed us warmly and provided a friendly and relaxed experience. We thoroughly enjoyed drifting and paddling, stopping to swim and unwind along the 9km journey downstream - a very peaceful start to our weekend. The only recommendation we would have is to go after it... More

Wow what a beautiful experience this was! Gary was extremely friendly and professional, and worked hard to convince our 7 year old daughter she should share a kayak instead of having her own (which she wanted). As the current was a bit faster due to the rains, he didn't feel it was safe for her to have her own kayak... More

We had such an amazing time kayaking down this beautiful creek. I was in ore of the location and the amazing clarity of the water. I came home and showed my nature loving Dad the photos and he was extremely jealous... we will definitely be returning in the future.

This is the second time we have had the joy of paddling Babinda Creek in the Big G's kayak's, and it did not disappoint. This is a magic spot, and a great way to spend time as a family. Our kids had progressed to individual kayaks, and they loved the sense of achievement in having mastered it for themselves. Great... More
