Fascinating display made up from a wide variety of mainly insects and butterflies. This can never be repeated as you would not be allowed to kill so many creatures for the sake of art. I would have given it excellent if it was not for...More
For the really low price of $5 each, you can enter this historic display that really has a wide range of items. Nowhere else has such a display of such quality and quantity. The guide was really friendly and helpful.
We weren't sure what to expect here, but the display is incredible and impressive. From beautifully arranged butterflies to scary snakes and amazing moths, it's all here. Best part was the host though; he shared amazing stories with us and explained all we saw. Thanks...More

An OK place to visit while you're in town, but not something you'd go out of your way to see. The exhibit was quite good, featuring thousands of butterflies and other native Australian animals. The staff are friendly, interesting enough for a quick visit.
Incredible and colourful arrangement of butterflies, moths, beetles, crabs, sea shells, reptiles, rocks, fossils and aboriginal stone implements. The display is a private collection of Allan and Jess Ey, beautifully arranged in glass display cabinets. Allan's son in law provides an informative commentary. Very reasonable...More

Nowhere have I seen a display of nature as good as this one and to think one man with the help of his wife put all of this together. I have been there many times with grandchildren and they always want to return.
