Dropped in whilst in Daylesford to have a look at the artwork on display / sale. A lot of it was not to my taste (modern abstract stuff that make no sense to me) but there were some pieces that appealed. Have a wander around,...More

There were some great paintings on display! The building itself is quite impressive in a pretty setting. There is a nice cafe with great desserts.

The old building is well presented complete with the original nooks and crannies. We spent more time in the cafe which offered interesting food choices, and the shop where a rabbit fur jacket was purchased, than exploring the gardens or the gallery. Will allocate more...More

Wonderful spot to have a look around. If you've got time - stop in at the cafe and gallery. Lovely gardens and areas to sit.

Cafe on site is ok The gallery worth visiting. $5 entry gets you inside the convent to see the art on display and wander the beautiful building. Take a peek at the nuns quarters. The conservatory is a modern addition and beautiful.

Only did the galleries here. Didn’t bother eating here. Wasn’t overly fussed by the galleries. The house it self could be a lot more interesting if they revealed more of its past. I’m sure there would be some stories to be told.

Mum and I enjoyed morning tea in the cafe, got to love the name “Bad Habits” We can highly recommend the scones and One serving between two is enough. Also a great coffee. Great customer service, very obligating to accommodate my mums special needs.
