Found this little cinema by chance, whilst staying in Thirsk. Was amazed by the prices, £ 5 adult and £4 child, must be the cheapest cinema in England, and having a teenager with us on holiday was a great place to go for a evening...More

On driving through Thirsk I spotted this old fashioned cinema that was still open to the public and knew a visit was needed. I went with my husband and 86 year old mother to see Beauty and the Beast. I really enjoyed the nostalgia of...More

Super friendly staff and a lovely quaint cinema, beats the big cinemas hands down for personal service and cosy seats, very clean and your feet don't stick to the floor like they do in the mega cinemas!

This is a great place, right on my doorstep. It only has one screen with the same film running from Thursday to Wednesday night inclusive. Run by local volunteers who must be commended on their dedication. No need to travel far, which is great and...More

Run by volunteers who work hard & cheerfully to keep us all happily entertained with some great films in a comfortable & wonderfully old building of yesteryear. What a gem of a place!
