What a glorious piece of heritage saved and run by enthusiasts,a very pleasant way to spend a few hours ,hop of at the other end for a drink in the local pub and catch a later train, highly recommended.

My friends surprised me with afternoon tea on the EVR for my 50th birthday. Eric did a wonderful job of looking after us, keeping us topped up with tea, homemade sandwiches, scones as well as stories along the journey!

Lovely steam train journey through beautiful Derbyshire. Reasonable price, good journey length and friendly staff.

Had a day out on Railway on Bank Holiday Monday.Excellent service and timings.Also went up to Ravenstor which is recommended.There are also tours around the shed area.
