We parked just off Ringinglow Road & walked over to Stanage Pole. Beautiful conditions & dry underfoot. Many rock climbers & mature walkers out to face the cold winds .Never fails to impress as a photographic paradise. I was fortunate to see a red kite...More

We walked from Hathersage up the Stanage, havimg bought a small walking map at one of the (several!) outdoor activity type shops in the high street. Very glad we did, as it would not have been possible without our little map! Lovely photo opportunities throughout,...More

What a walk from Hathersage! Took 4 hours from the Plough inn, was fantastic, the views are great. Mildly challenging at times. Really enjoyed it and would recommend!

Spent a couple of hours along the edge after climbing up from the road, stunning, breath taking, but very accessible well maintained paths to the edge, kids would love it. Incredible

Not far from Sheffield, just round the corner from the Foxhouse Pub. Great place for a Sunday walk, although it may be a bit crowded on a Sunday or bank holiday. Biggest disadvantage is you have to pay for the car park. Stunning views into...More

Fabulous views from the top of the Edge. Maps and directions not really needed because there were plenty of people doing the same walk and many locals around to ask directions. We walked about 10 miles in all but we were lucky with the weather....More
