This place is far better than the Chieften ,I'd rather have a pint here than the bloody Chieften ,At least You can have a laugh with the locals .More than I can say about the Chieften Its dead .Landlady hasnt got a clue how too...More

Calling it the best pub in Hadfield may not be the greatest accolade but this is a good, friendly pub close to the Railway station and convenient for the Longdendale trail. Good beers, in a Robinsons sort of way, friendly service and a lively atmosphere.

Visited this recently refurbished pub. Ordered drinks and caught the Landlady pouring slops from the drip tray into the beer glass.
