It is such a nice environment by the river and free play park for children at the far end of the park. Some Sundays band plays which is enjoyable. One thing that lets it down is the toilets! Remember also to get your parking ticket.

What a lovely find. Theses gardens must be amongst the nicest I very been to. The horse shoe weir is stunning and the gardens themselves extremely well tended. You must visit when in the area

Runs alongside the old mill, but has beautiful landscaped gardens, boating, children’s play area and band stand. There are plenty of seats along the walk to take in the view. Peaceful and relaxing.

We took a nice evening stroll over the weekend. Very pretty, well maintained and looked after. Great little park for little ones.

Nice and well kept but smaller than I thought it would be. When the weather is good it would be fine but it’s only a twenty minute walk around the gardens.

The river gardens are pretty close to where I live, so I’ll often have a wander to soak up the tranquility. The gardens are kept immaculate, and overlooking the river, it brings a sense of calm. It’s different when the children are not at school,...More

Went here with my family. What a beautiful hidden gem. It was lovely to walk around seeing the flowers and ducks with babies. Also the geese.
