I great place to take the family with children. Lots of space for the children to play. Staff helpful. One can experience being in a Victorian classroom. Weather on the day perfect!

Great museum. Evoked lots of memories of mine and my children's childhoods. Lots of 'old' toys, many of which I had forgotten about. Also, a lot of information about children's lives and their work lives in the past. Well worth a visit.

Our 2 grandchildren had a fabulous time here they were mesmerised by all the different toys on display from the 1800s through to about 1970/80 There are points in the museum where they can get hands on with various toys and really enjoyed going up...More

So much to do here - the childhood museum is great both for children and adults looking for a spot of nostalgia. The hall itself is lovely to walk around and you've also got large grounds to take a stroll around.
