What a wonderful museum, our 4 year old granddaughter loved it. It was so interesting for both adults and children alike. We also visiting Sudbury Hall and gardens with was well worth the visit.

A grey and rainy afternoon and time on your hands in Cheadle, Staffs, area. What better time to pop into The Museum of Childhood - preferably with children, but not necessarily. Be transported back to the horrendous times of waifs down coal mines, to the...More

Childhood Museum very interesting and well worth a visit with lots of hands on experiences for children. The Schoolroom well run and gives a good experience of how school life used to be. The Hall is interesting too although a lot of the furniture was...More

As usual, if you are a NT member it's OK price wise - otherwise quite expensive. We have been a couple of times. The kids like it a lot. The museum and the grounds. The upsidedown room is quite a thing.

We were disappointed that that Sudbury Hall itself was not open at the same time it's closed Monday and Tuesday.
