Such a stunning place, you have to drive down a little road for what feels like ages to get here, the views can't be beaten around here, it is so peaceful. Whatever the weather it is definitely worth going here!

Stunningly beautiful. No other words needed. Roads too and from are narrow in places as expected. Don’t think everyone is considerate...they are not! A bloke in the middle of the road wouldn’t move over and hit my wing mirror. No big deal, no damage but...More

Visited Wastwater a couple years ago, and had to revisit again this time around. Amazing scenery all the way down, lovely walks or picnic areas. Defiantly recommend a visit.

We stayed in Nether Wasdale at the south end of the lake. There are 2 pubs with rooms. The youth hostel on the water's edge us also an option.
