Lovely castle with lots of history and a surprising amount of ruins left. Had a good old poke about. Some lovely views. Staff really friendly and informative. Just a delightful little place.

Called in on this attraction as it is part of English Heritage, it is a small castle ruin but worth a visit if you are in the area. There is a great view from the top of one of the towers.

Nice grounds. Very interesting old ruins with great story. Nice grounds and good views. English Heritage is doing a great job here. Limited parking, however, down dead end road near office.
