NOT IN PROMINENT POSITION

Very nice Memorial but rather hidden from view. It took me a few months living in the town before I noticed it.

The memorial is situated just opposite the town bridge which give access to the banks. It is very busy near by as it opens out to all the main areas and places of interest around Wisbech including the Market Square, the Bus Station, the river Nene, and the main shopping area. I have lived, worked, shopped and enjoyed being here... More

Having just moved to Wisbech, I came across this memorial. It is a poignant reminder of those who perished in the defence of this country.

the memorial is always kept clan and tidy. Well done the team who do that, especially for the month of April and November where people gather.

I often find myself purchasing a sandwich and heading to the Crescent gardens to sit and eat surrounded by the well kept gardens. It is at the heart of those gardens, at the heart of the town - forget 'town centre' - that you will find this proud monument to those whom have fallen. I can't think of anything better... More

The Memorial is a bit tucked away and not easy to find. Feel it should be in a more prominent position in town.It is well looked after however.

If local and you want a good memorial Sunday Rememberance then attend here and you cannot but be moved with the thought of those local and across the country who gave their lives for the good of the country, it always moves me.

Located in the Crescent it is one of the most prominent memorials I have seen. In a very clean and tidy area with pretty garden in the background. Nice to see something of importance be so well maintained.

There was a large turnout for the annual service and parade at the Wisbech War Memorial. A cadet band marching band was present.
