The zoo is a hidden treasure. Very compact but with a great variety of species. The care and consideration for the anilmals is immediately visible. We visited with the family, and the children loved the hands on experience with some of the smaller species. We...More

As other reviewers have said, the zoo is run down and some of the poor animals do not have enough space, like the snow leopard and one of the other large cats who were just pacing up and down all the time, it was heartbreaking...More

Fabulous little zoo. Very relaxed. Nice mix of animals. Uneven ground - a lot of tree roots. Very approachable staff with interactive sessions. Basic cafe but food okay. For me the big cats were my favourite, will be back.
