Went with a group my first visit arrived at 1 pm and visited the stalls which had a lovely display of goods and eating areas and not overly priced. Had hot spiced apple and cinnamon tea, gorgeous on such a cold but dry and very sunny day. Then toured the house lovely setting in each room centered around Christmas. The... More

I went today with my best friend and her retired parents. The car park is very well organised and the shuttle bus is very efficient and makes it all very easy. It takes you right up to the entrance to the grounds in front if the house. The house has numerous decorated trees which are beautiful. Outside there are plenty... More

Went here to see the Christmas light show to music of the Manor and the Bruce Munro Field of Lights it was very magical and very seasonal. The addition of the Christmas market was a great added attraction. We went in the late afternoon midweek and could wander around without too many crowds, much better than London hustle and bustle.... We visited especially for the market. Cost us £10 each to get in(I know they claim it's free but you have to buy a ticket for the gardens to gain entry to market) there were about 30 stalls but about 6 of them were selling cheese and 3 selling sausages. Didn't feel there was enough variety on the stalls, none... More

Brilliant day out. Especially if you are a NT member, so many extras for free. The decorated rooms are phenomenal.

We've been coming to Waddesdon Manor for years and have always enjoyed it. We went today specifically to wander round their annual Christmas Market. Currently in the second week of its four week duration, the market features Christmas gift stalls of jewellery, fabrics, kiddies toys etc., plus many traders selling their own produce or specialist selections of cheese continental charcuterie... Fantastic place to visit when the light show is on. It is truly Spectacular. From dusk a light and sound show animates the facade of the house with rainbow colours. The 4minute performance runs every 15minutes. We were very lucky to see Bruce Munro's Field of light installation which is magical. 9,000 stems of light 'bloom' as night falls in... More
