If you fancy a quiet and friendly place to drink a Gin/Beer with friends, look no further than here. A great selection of beers, wines and a good choice of spirits, “ The Transporter” is the place to go to wash away the week!

The Old Transporter is an excellent place to drink which sells a range of cask beers, keg warsteiner lager, shipyard ale and Guinness and still coders. A fantastic place to meet new people and has two thriving darts teams

Modest pub but a great selection of beers and nice friendly owners. Warsteiner on tap is highly recommended.

Another trip from our 'local' befell the 'ol Transporter' at the weekend. As usual, fine ales on offer, particularly enjoyed the Peckham and the XT. Always a pleasant atmosphere, good service, good selections of ales, ciders and gins. Will be back again very soon !

We frequent this venue regularly as they have a varied and regularly changing selection of real ales on gravity from the casks as well as ciders from boxed bags which are nice too. The Warsteiner on draught is by far the best I have tasted...More

We stopped off here after the Dog Races at Henlow. Cute drinking hole, quite basic inside but wow what an atmosphere. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the gin bar was by far my favourite experience. I think I tried 5 gins for £5...More
