The shop and cafe is lovely and the view from the top of a cliff near the car park is of course, gorgeous but the management seems to have failed to notice the several 'dens' going on near the Bison hill car park area which...More
A great place to walk the dog and meet other dogs. Inca and I visit 2 or 3 times a week and enjoy several different walks over and around the Downs. The area is well looked after and volunteers do a great job litter picking.
I have not visited for about 20 years and was persuaded by my husband to go last Sunday. What a pleasant surprise! A new cafe with a NT gift shop and lots of parking,

Beautiful afternoon walking along the downs. Making it more memorable walking over the parachute gliders, kites flying and an assortment of dogs playing. What a joyful afternoon with my husband and he bought me ice cream. Very special place, everyday is different. Highly recommended.

There is a hard path that runs from the new car park near the building accross the top of DDowns. You can take in the view which is stunning. The path is not flat however as it follows the natural formation. Other than this path all other paths are off road and more like tracks. Some of the fields may be ok but it would be weather dependant. Hope this helps. Its worth going, such a stunning place full of history.
