Hands-down, this is the most beautiful part of Martha's Vineyard. The island's interior is nice, lush farmland, and a few of the towns are quaint (Vineyard Haven, Oak Bluffs, and Edgartown), but this is the one truly majestic point that reminds you that you're on...More

Very pretty part of MV! The walk is easy with children and they really enjoyed looking down at the beach.

Worth the drive through beautiful woodlands. We biked the 23 miles from Edgartown and that was an effort! Views of the lighthouse were actually better from here than anywhere else. Interesting little museum home at bottom of drive out that is worth a look as...More

We went to the cliffs for the first time during sunset and it was beautiful. Definitely a good place to check out and very different from anywhere else on the island. It is definitely a hike to get out there via bus from Oak Bluffs...More

We arrived and found parking in front of the scenic overlook. Had lunch at the restaurant at the top. Fabulous views and decent food. Free parking for one hour. Then we drove our car to the beach parking lot. Was $10 for 2 hours. The...More

Well worth the drive from Oak Bluffs or Vineyard Haven. A short walk past the small shops and restaurants gives a great look out over the shore and cliffs.

Loved this area. Beautiful scenery. Definitely worth a visit. If going by car you can only park for one hour but there are buses that go there if you want to spend longer. Refreshments and facilities good here.

Friends on the island have directed my wife and I to many great restaurants over the years at MV. And, we've been to the Aquinnah many times. But, we just assumed the Aquinnah Cliffs would just be a tourist trap with mediocre food and a...More

We took the local bus from Egartown to this historic site. The recently moved Gay Head lighthouse was available to tour. Well worth it. The view of the colorful cliffs is certainly a good photo op. The Wampanoag tribe has jurisdiction over the area and...More

You can rent mopeds, but the busy roads are narrow and winding and there have been moped accidents on Martha's Vineyard, sad to say. I'd suggest taking a tour bus if you just want to go to the cliff lookout shops. You could... More
