This place was AWESOME. Beautiful and not super expensive. They had rappelling and stuff but I’m scared of heights so I didn’t do that. I did get food with them and it was SO good. The people were nice and one of the guys spoke perfect English. It is in the middle of nowhere so that was kind of scary, but it was worth it.

Repelling down 23m into the cenote and zip lining inside this beautiful cenote was very entertaining.

The water was clear and found some fish too. They don't allow you to bring a camera or a phone because both of your hands need to be free for activities, but they allow Gopro if properly mounted on your head or chest. They don't want any device to fall into the 50m deep cenote.

I really enjoyed my visit to Cenote Maya.

Rappeling is an amazing experience! Cenote is beautiful but the price for photos is horrible.
Tourists are not allowed to take photos inside cenote at all. This was the most disapointing fact of the whole trip.

I can’t believe I rappelled into this beautiful place! Such an amazing experience! From the Mayan blessing, to the traditional Mexican meal and of course swimming in the cenote, it was a highlight of our vacation.
Our excursion also included Chichén Itzá- small group tour highly recommended! Missed the crowds!

Beautiful area, average lunch, not a great photographer on the spot. While you are not allowed to take photos in Cenote, there is a photographer who is taking photos so you can buy it for extra charge. But the quality of photos are horrible, all of them a blurry, poor lighting. If you would be able to take your cameras or phones, your photos will be 100% better that the one at extra charge. Dogs are roaming around in dining area. Doesn’t look very hygienic for me. Though the staff is nice.

The cenote was about 40 feet below the surface. Option to rappel down to the water which was fun. The Altournative guides on hand told us absolutely no photos allowed in the park even go pro photos even though the official brochure said go pro on chest strap and helmet was allowed. The guides wanted us to only but the pictures taken by their photographer which was US $20 per “bundle” and they made sure to separate the family pictures so you buy more bundles. The photo shows one of the guides frowning because my sister took a cellphone photo. Too much money grubbing in the park. Better to go elsewhere.

This was awesome. Really unique, a fun adventure.

One question we had... the rappelling and the zip line with a 6 year old... it was perfect. She had a blast and we got some incredible photos of her rappelling down the 100' into the cave, and then zip lining and dropping the ~20-30' into the water.

It was a few hours really well spent. The food was excellent (and there was plenty).

Amazing experience and truly recommend

Although i didn't pluck up the courage to jump back on the rappelling after all these years of being scared of height my girlfriend did and it was a incredibly safe experience.

The park itself is amazing and the people are really friendly.

The Mayan ceremony is truly special and honestly what better place to visit

We are always looking for local guides a tours and this was amazing, first because all the staff come from a Mayan community and the make you feel part of them. The cenote is HUGE and the activities that you can do inside are super fun. The food was good, and our tour guide Paco or Fran Flores clearly knew a lot! A that’s something that we appreciate.

This experience was amazing, and I am so happy we went through AllToursNative. Rudy was our tour guide, waiter, driver, and adventure guide. The experience started with a traditional ceremony, then continues to a repel cite into the cenote. The staff makes you feel very safe about the repel and takes time to explain everything and make sure you are comfortable. The photos, while pricey, are worth it.
You repel straight into the cold water, which you adapt to within a few minutes. There are two jumping ledges with different heights, as well as two zip lines also with different heights.
They have tubes if you just want to float around with the fish as well, and a kayak, which I did not use. After exiting through the stairs, your body feels so refreshed. They take you to a lunch with the BEST food I had during my entire time in Mexico. I highly recommend this site for families, couples, and everyone!
