We went on the full day Ek Balam Cenote Maya Tour. The groups was small, which made it very nice. We went to Ek Balam first. Our site guide had helped with the excavation of the site when it was discovered, so he was extremely knowledgable and you could tell he was passionate about the ruins. My only complaint about... We stopped in and were very confused by the parking and entrance. We had to pay a guy to 'watch' our car in the parking lot. Once in the Cenote, it was fun to swim but so crowded with people. There are other cenotes that are less crowded.

Pure Heaven I loved it would go back in a heartbeat! There is a bike shuttle that drove us to the Cenote as one of my traveling companions has a bad leg. This did not deter us from going. The water was nice and cool on a very hot day. There were small and big fishes in the water we... More

Clean, with lifeguard and floats. Zip lining available and also rappel. Worth the drive and perfect after seeing the ruins.

The cenote itself is lovely, its open air as oppose to some of the more underground ones you can also find. We visited this after touring the ruins. It is about a 20-30 minute walk to get there, which was a little tough in the heat having already been walking round for a few hours, but perfectly do-able and nice... More

Our travel guide, Danique with Altournative Tours was great -Knew lots of info and was very helpful. Our driver was very helpful too! Beautiful cenote. The community there was very friendly. Maybe a bit faster camera-some of their pics were a bit blurry.

There's something amazing about cycling to this secluded Cenote after seeing Ek Balam. We went early in the morning, zip wired across ($300 pesos) and then swam for hours. There were never more than 30 people (we left about 11) and it never felt crowded - and this was in the first week in January. A must-see if you go... More

Quite a treck to get there. So we took a tricycle. Tough job for the drivers as the path goes up and down. A bit of a wait both ways. But the visit to this vast cenote was well worth it. It's a large basin, deep down, with a sparkling water. There were many swimmers, some of whom were jumping... More

These cenote are amazing. You go inside rapelling (very easy), you can dive from 2 spots. You can use the zipline or swim quietly. They have place to chance and they furnish the towel. Bad things, you cannot take picture there they sale you a cd or a USB for to much money like a lot of tour in Mexico...
