We stopped here in late April 2024 during our Chichen Itza tour with our guide Luigi and honestly this was my favorite part of my day. This cenote was extremely beautiful and the water was 80° and perfectly refreshing. They were only a couple of people there when we arrived so it really felt like it was a private swimming area. The water was quite deep at one end but the other half you can see the whole bottom. There were a few birds flying around at the top and doing a really nice bird song. You have to climb down many flights of stairs to get to the swimming platform and they also have a jumping platform that is about 15 feet high. We did that and loved it.

The location is also pretty easy to get to, you get to it off the main road and once there you really feel like you are in the middle of the jungle. There are more popular cenotes but those are also way more crowded so I would definitely recommend this place if you want to have a beautiful and tranquil swimming experience versus a busy and chaotic one.

We came here as part of a small group tour to Chichen Itza and Valladolid. This was an incredibly beautiful, and less trafficked cenote. We were the only people at the cenote for at least 20 minutes before a family came, so it was relaxing and peaceful to not have to endure the crowds. The grounds of the cenote are very well kept, and the bathrooms, changing rooms, and showers were very nice. Highly recommend if you want a quieter, less crowded cenote!

A beautiful, quiet cenote. There are places to jump and life jackets aren’t required. It’s definitely one of my favorites in the area.

After reading about the crowds at the cenote near Chichen Itza we decided to go here. We just missed being the only ones (on a Monday morning) - no one else there at 9:30, but then a group of 8 people came with a guide. But still, the cavern is big enough to share. Beautiful, lovely water, a diving platform, fish...

If you're nearby this is a great Cenote to visit. Steps lead you down to an underground chamber and pool lit by the big hole in the roof. The water is clear, cool and great for swimming and watching the fish. Plus there's a rope swing and a platform for jumping in. We arrived at 1.30pm and it was busy but never felt crowded as the cenote is big. Entrance was 150 pesos per person which was reasonable, and they have a swimming pool and bar/restaurant as well. We stopped here on the way to Chichen Itza, and had a really enjoyable couple of hours.

We rented a car from Puerto Morelos and needed some place to kill some time. Since this was on the way, it worked out very well. We arrived around noon and there were maybe 5 other people here. The lack of a crowd made it a better experience. It's really a Mom and Pop (Mama Y Papa?) operation. It was nice to walk the grounds afterwards. Google maps will get you close but not entirely accurate. The signs are easy to follow.

Really great, generally quiet cenote.
Great for swimming and pictures.
Prices are higher than listed online. 100peso for adults to 30peso for kids. Under 5 free. Well worth it - even if a tour group did crash our experience.
Great place to have some lunch and a swim. Beautiful blue water, not as cold as some others.

We were leaving Valladolid and rode passed this one and checked out the reviews on Tripadvisor. With 5 stars, how could we go wrong. So very cute, quaint and beautiful. I assume family owned because 2 boys were in charge of the life jackets and lockers. No crowds. So quiet. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous place, still very natural. I hope it stays that way. We spent a couple of hours in the cenote and were alone most of the time. We only saw 2 kids in charge of the place who are the cutest :). If you visit, please keep it clean and quite, is the charm of the place.

Pictures do not do it justice - absolutely beautiful cenote, and practically empty… we were there for most of the day and hardly had another person in with us.

Easy to find, loads of parking, clean changing rooms and toilet, and really friendly family who operate it… even helped us sort a taxi back after!

Would hate for this to become a tourist trap as it’s so nice for such a tranquil and beautiful place to be available right on the doorstep of town!
