Was able to volunteer for a short time today and we took 9 kids from the pueblo to the playa for FREE swim lessons. Such a well run organization. Perfect morning.

Sweet little library, doing lots of great things with local children to increase environmental awareness and sense of community. I go to Akumal often and have seen this library flourishing more and more in recent months. Give them a visit!

From an access point of view this is so easy to find. Just come off the highway (collectivos will drop you off) and walk towards Akumal Beach where you can swim with turtles after your visit. You will walk past the library on your way...More
