Great organization!

They coordinated our day to Akumal Beach and Aktun Chen. They were knowledgeable and friendly, our group of six had a great time.

Fantastic snorkelling with free swimming turtles, beautiful beach, warm waters and hidden treasures. I can't believe we got so close to these magnificent creatures.

Nice tour. We booked private tour from the booth right on the beach. Bring our own masks or rent from the guys. Worth to go 100%. Tour is about 1 hour long. You will see beautiful turtles, eating grass under the water same as cows. It was cool!

Exactly beach but sea was very cloudy, and unless you are a excellent swimmer you will suffer to see turtles as you all have to wear life jacket, this is so you don't botter turtles, and coral but worth a visit

LOVE the work they are doing to save the sea turtles. They work long hours monitoring the turtles and turtle nests with very limited $$. Happy to find many people who volunteer their time for this worthy cause.

Stop in and learn about the amazing sea turtles found here and the essential efforts being taken to protect them and increase their reproductive successes. With the ridiculous and ill-conceived Secrets going in these people and the magical turtles will need all the help they can get, sadly.

Cool to see and learn about turtles. Very interesting. Some people go on their own. Bring their own equipment. Not sure about the rules...

CEA is trying to gather information on the ecosystems within Akumal bay to protect it, and the organisms within it, and they have successfully made the bay a no take zone, protecting the animals there from overfishing

We were surprised when directed to the protected area off the beach and were doubtful but we saw about 20 turtles feeding on the sea grass. It was easy to find the turtles as other snorkelers were close by - sort of the Yellowstone effect for seeing wild life. We came back in the evening and enjoyed a quieter snorkel.... More
